What sets you apart from the others in a group? It can be your leadership, creativity, motivation, persistence, ring tones, ringtones, ringtones and even more ringtones!! Eeeks! Did I just compare ringtones with those characteristic? Hell yeah and silly me at the same time but you know I did the right thing because everything is evolving and which ringtones you choose for yourself is damn important for your overall “style”.

Technology have changed and evolved drastically since the late 90s didn’t it? In the beginning we had computers the size of the Wembley or Emirates football stadium and now we have mobile computers which is actually smaller than a matchbox. At first we had monotones on our cell phones and then just after a year we surpassed the real tones to mp3 to 3D dolby surround compatible ringtones! I still clearly remember that “The Buffoon” was one of my most favorite ring tone of all time and now I change ringtones more than I change my clothes everyday. In light of that and a previous post where I published the original Nokia handhelds ringtones, I am again publishing for you another bunch of cool R & B, Rap and of course some more Nokia original tones.

Showing you the way wherever you are, that’s what Nokia Maps offer you for your symbian 3rd edition smartphones. What I am bringing you today is something I know that a lotta of you folks have been wishing for so here it is, finally! So what is Nokia Maps? Well Nokia maps is Nokia’s official and finest GPS based, voice guided application developed mainly for the S40 and S60 N-Series and E-Series devices. It was previously in the beta stage and was secretly developed by the Research and Development division of Nokia before it was finally made public after it was confirmed to be stable.

More than 200 different countries and all their navigational details are supported and are also available to be downloaded straight for the Nokia official site. With a voice based guidance you can actually preplan your destination, find way points, restaurants and any special places on the go. You can save the data on the memory card for viewing later by the Nokia Maps Loader. This has its good uses as it will seriously reduce internet charges if you do the navigation from a WLAN based connection. You can easily tag any location for finding it easily in the future. As a driver you will have your very own navigational companion with Nokia Maps 2 as this one can instruct turn by turn of what’s next in the road. You can set the time interval, the voice clarity etc. Finding ATM machines to withdraw cash or to pay your credit card bills will never be the same with Nokia Maps 2 installed as it easily detects all the available ATM machines around your house and tell you exactly the easiest route to take!

There is also a built in search box which lets you search any place, tags etc on the go and its really easy to use it overall. The mapping itself is really pretty slick and simple, with almost all types of view available including a satellite view, a hybrid view, a 2D view and a 3D view. It also have a drive and walk navigation feature, loads of downloadable multimedia city guides which really will be very much useful for tourism purposes, and lots of other innovative and everyday features. Also if you have location tagging enabled then you can share pictures/images on Google earth and Flickr! And if you are a blogger like me, then hubba hubba… Nokia Maps 2 is just what you need!

This amazing GPS application is for you to download free once you have grabbed my RSS feed for free. This application comes built in with Nokia N95 8gb as much as I know but all other 3rd edition application which lacks this built in application can install and use it to their advantage. Minimalism, the kind of beauty not everyone is really fond of, but me, I love minimalism! According to me, the basic and the most simple things of life sometimes does look so beautiful and with that in mind I designed this particular theme which I call Minimalistic Art. I mainly designed this theme for 3rd edition devices and handsets, however later on I realized that there are quite a few of my friends who visit here often and is on the 2nd edition smartphones. So I simply had to redo it for the 2nd edition feature pack 1, 2 and 3.

The theme is mainly based on a red gradient as you can see and the eagle in between the screen of your cell phones is inspired from the well known clothing brand, American Eagle. If you look at it closely you will see the irony of this theme, “This isn’t minimalistic art“, funny eh? I am not really feeling a 100% lately to be honest mainly because I have been terribly busy with work almost everyday and attending parties after that. I am not whining, but I am just so goddamn tired! This theme is a product of the period when I was kinda pissed at someone and was just trying to calm down by designing. I know its been quite a while since the last time I released any mobile theme for Nokia symbian phones, but trust me friends, I really am trying to design and update the portfolio/blog every single minute I am free. Anyway, I do like bright symbian themes and this one surely is bright, right Fred? I really hope you like it cause I really tried hard this time! However, if you don’t then do let me know what kind of themes you would prefer to see here in Nokia symbian themes.

This theme is a Scalable Vector Graphics (or SVG) based theme so it should work well with almost any phones, having any resolutions as long as the OS is Symbian. That means almost all S60 mobile phones or pda should be compatible with this one! Smartphones like N-Series and E-Series Nokia N71, N81, N91, N92, N93, N96, N95 8gb, 6120, 6290, 6600 Slide, Arte, Prism, 7360, 7210, Nokia N90, N78, N82, N80, N70 Music Edition, Xpress Music phones like 5700/5710 and 5500 and 5300/5310 5200/5210, N72, N73, N76, E50, N75, 3230, 3250, 6680, 6681, E60, E61, E62, E65, E70, E66, E71, E90 etc should all work! I do hope I haven’t missed anything in that huge list, if I did then feel free to add it as a comment. This phone is also network carrier independent as I have symbian signed it myself with a certificate and you should not see an expiry message anytime soon.
