Blaqueneon | Nokia Mobile Themes Download

Greetings occupants! Today I am again publishing one of the latest theme which I designed for S60 2nd and 3rd edition symbian mobile themes of Nokia. It’s called Blaqueneon and it is mainly designed to give your smartphone a simple yet gorgeous black look. The theme is designed on the shades of dark black mixed with shades of gray, a soft light copper and mixture of gold in between. This theme should go great with the phone’s menu text and should not give you any visual annoyance in any way. It is easy on the eye one might say and is kinda small in size so that it does not eat up your device’s phone memory.

This Nokia mobile theme indicates the difference between being a culprit and a hero. The difference that we sometimes forget when going through success. Fortunately for me, with all your support I believe I am doing ok with what I have and I hope that so are you. No one wants to be a culprit in any way after all. I have been terribly busy with my office and work (blegh!) lately and the stress is really taking its toll cause I cannot seem to squeeze out time to design and develop symbian themes for Nokia UI *sighs*. I do hope that you all will like this theme more or less and will help me to do better development in terms of symbian mobile and Pda designs. Please do leave your comments and even your complaints when you visit the site as I always read them one by one everyday. Though I do not reply to all of them, but I really do read all you have to say and contribute.

I am truly grateful to every single one of my visitors and friends all around and everyone of the community for making me, Ishtiaq Saddam aka Chaos Inc. who he is today, the proud developer of exclusively designed free themes for Nokia. I love what I do and I will always try to keep it up.

As always this theme is compatible with all the major GSM and WCDMA wireless network carriers including AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Orange Mobile UK, Hutch, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile, Telstra, Telenor, Rogers, Cingular, Airtel, Sprint etc and more. This theme is also designed for all the N-Series, E-Series, Nokia mobile phones like N95, N96, N91, N92, N93, 6110, N80, N78, E50, E66, E71, E51, 3250, 6120, 5700 Xpress Music, 5710, 6290, N73, N71, N95 8gb, N76, N77, Sirocco, N75, 5300, 5200, 5310, 6300, 6500 Slide, E65, E62, E61, E70, Luna, N81, N82, 6600 Slide, N72 etc and more.

I am dedicating this symbian theme to Tool for a reason. When I actually started to design this theme I was listening to Tool’s Aenima and when I finished it after two weeks (Of course the total time to design this actually took a total of two hours combining every minute here and there) I was still listening to Tool’s Aenima. So here is a little bit of quote from this amazing piece of song Aenima, by Maynard James Keenan’s!

Silly shit, stupid shit…

One great big festering neon distraction,

I’ve a suggestion to keep you all occupied.

Learn to swim.

Mom’s gonna fix it all soon.

Mom’s comin’ round to put it back the way it ought to be.

Learn to swim.

Fuck L Ron Hubbard and

Fuck all his clones.

Fuck all those gun-toting

Hip gangster wannabes.

Learn to swim.

Fuck retro anything.

Fuck your tattoos.

Fuck all you junkies and

Fuck your short memory.

Learn to swim.

Fuck smiley glad-hands

With hidden agendas.

Fuck these dysfunctional,

Insecure actresses.

Learn to swim.

Cuz I’m praying for rain

And I’m praying for tidal waves

I wanna see the ground give way.

I wanna watch it all go down.

Mom please flush it all away.

I wanna watch it go right in and down.

I wanna watch it go right in.

Watch you flush it all away.

Time to bring it down again.

Don’t just call me pessimist.

Try and read between the lines.

I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t

Welcome any change, my friend.

I wanna see it all come down.

suck it down.

flush it down.

SkyFire - Browsing Made Easy | Mobile Application

The most useful feature for any phone these days beside its talking ability is the fact that you are connected to the World Wide Web from almost anywhere you are as long as your GSM or CDMA provider covers it under their network. From Wap to GPRS to EDGE and then fueled by the power of 3G speeds, technology have really outgrown our expectations the last few years. The wireless sector specially saw immense growth and even in our small, rebellious country called Bangladesh almost 5 crore people are using cell phones or smartphones. That’s a huge number considering we are a very poor country in terms of gross economy. Anyhow, the best thing is that the introduction of mobile gprs and Edge have really made it possible for people living in the most remote area now getting fast access to the internet. With that being said, in places like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Finland etc the usage of mobile phone and the internet packet data is really vast and “ever green”.

However, one thing everyone lacked was the ability to surf from the phone via the entire HTTP mode. In simple words, most webpages which were previously not made for WAP connectivity and compatibility was completely inaccessible through cell phones. Then came Opera into the scene and changed everything about internet browsing from your mobile phones by introducing the phenomenal browser Opera Mobile. Symbian OS and Opera Mobile surely is the best combo one can expect from his or her Nokia right? I mean only Flash based content was missing!!!! Then the Nokia N95 was introduced and again internet browsing shifted gears for the better by having a full HTTP mobile based browser with “mouse type scrolling” built in and most importantly, the symbian engine built in the phone supported Flash Lite which is even more superb and made the scene quite complete. I really can’t thank Flash Lite and its developers enough for that honestly because I personally love the overall Flash Lite experience.

And now, we have SkyFire! What is SkyFire? SkyFire is a state of the art mobile and smartphones based browser which is completely free to use and share. It supports everything you can think of literally and the browsing speed is just quite awesome. I don’t know if you experienced it yourself but in my wife’s phone, the Nokia simply sometimes hung up because the web pages that were being loaded through Opera Mobile surpassed the Java heap memory that the phone provides. Quality rendering was always not an option simply because of this. But SkyFire really changes all that because SkyFire apparently uses an efficient and intelligent engine which seems to balance the load on the phone memory very well and the cache does not load up the phone’s “point of explosion” (..know what I mean.) Not only that with SkyFire you can be quite sure that you will see the web as if you are browsing from your laptop or desktop pc.

Though we do have streaming based applications like the MobiTubia or the EmTube for watching our favorite videos but did you still not wonder that, when it will be time for YouTube to be mobile browser friendly? Opera mobile 8.5 certainly did not support it and for a time being it seemed that this is how its gonna go on forever, stand alone application for watching You Tube videos in mobile. Wrong again!!! With SkyFire you will be able to watch your favorite videos from your soon to be favorite browser SkyFire. You can even browse Facebook in full mode and not only the Facebook mobile version and even with the new look enabled. Chaning rendering and browsing resolution is now only a click away in your Nokia phones!

With Skyfire the fun does not stop here! Skyfire also have a built in map database which they seemed to have acquired via a partnership with a GPS navigation provider like Google Maps or Nokia Maps or something. In simple words, you will be able to render live maps just like in Garmin Mobile or TomTom Navigator straight up. The features do not stop here honestly because the standard files download, low quality high quality mode, one click shortcuts, save page mode are also there. Seriously you Iphone Safari guys and Opera Mobile fanatics (..which actually includes me at times) really need to check this out if you haven’t already. This is quite a browser and I feel that it will seriously change the way we once thought we can browse from Nokia based devices or handsets. The rendering is exceptionally fast and so is the loading which is a real plus for this really complete mobile browser. The overall experience through SkyFire is simply superb!!

Skyfire is equipped to be compatible with all Nokia 3rd edition S60 N-Series and E-Series symbian phones including the Nokia N91, N92, N93, N95, N96, N78, N81, N80, N92, N73, N75, N76, N71, E50, E61, E62, E65, E60, E66, E70, E71, E90, 6120, 6121, 5700 Xpress Music, 5500, 5710, 3250, 6110, 8800 Sirocco and Luna etc and more. All major GPRS, EDGE and 3G networks like the AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Orange Mobile Uk, Virgin Mobile, Telstra, T-Mobile, Optimus, Vodafone, Sprint, Rogers, Airtel, Cingular, Hutch, Digi etc are well supported. Also the Windows Mobile based PDA phones are supported too. I am quite sure that you will love this browser and so I hope that you will subscribe to my feeds because I will be most happy if you do. Enjoy your day peeps and always please comment and leave your thoughts!! Cheers!

Free Symbian Anti Virus Collections | Applications

Greetings occupants! Whether you are using a music phone with a 8gb memory limit or a phone with 256 mb card, virus sucks! Are you not sick of the virus that’s sending SMS or MMS messages from your phone without you knowing what exactly is happening? Are you not tired of your friends telling you that you and your Nokia sucks cause last night I received a SMS from you and when I opened it, I was ‘virus-fied’ too! I know, I once had a serious problem with the Cabir virus and all my friends and colleagues were going nuts cause they were telling me that I was sending them Bluetooth invites and sending them viruses! Being a Nokia freak myself, I was almost devasted by the accusations. So I had to do something about it!!!

And I did, I installed a free anti virus which immediately rectified the problem, deleted the virus, backed up the original file and made my day!! Ah that was quite a relief I must admit. Mobile virus can spread through GPRS (EDGE and 3G), WAP, Multimedia messaging or via Bluetooth and SMS. Keeping that in mind today I decided to enlighten you with a new collection of free mobile antivirus for Nokia 2nd edition and 3rd edition phones. Almost all of them will ensure that you can use them easily without messing up anything in your phone and will solve your virus issues of the symbian devices.

In this collection I am including the six top most anti virus applications ever released for smartphones and pda. The entire package includes F-Secure for Nokia, Jiangmin Anti Viral guard, Kaspersky Mobile Anti Virus, Net Qin for Nokia 3rd editions, Exo Virus Stop and the glorious Trend Micro Mobile Security. Almost all of them should work smoothly with your symbian handsets and will ensure complete safety. All of them also includes a firewall for intrusion detections via untrusted bluetooth connections. One anti virus even has SMS clean features which not only can block infected SMS but also can make your personal SMS vanish remotely in case your phone is lost or stolen. All of them also includes automatic database update through the mobile phone interface or via your laptop/pc. Via the use of a stand alone firewall you will be able to guard against background internet activity in your Nokia and thus stay safe from mobile spywares, spams and malwares. Easy to use and very light on the mobile flash memory you can be sure that either one of them will be of utmost use to you and your friends.

All the applications in this jam packed collection are tested with Nokia 3rd edition N-Series and E-Series S60 mobile devices like the Nokia N95, N93, N80, N91, N92, N96, N82, N81, N78, N73, N72, N76, N77, 6110, 6120, 6210, 6121, 8800 Sirocco, Luna, E50, E51, E60, E61, E62, E65, E70, E66, E71, 5500 Sport, 5700 Xpress Music, 5710, 5200, 6300, E90 etc and more. All the major GSM and CDMA carriers like AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Rogers, Telstra, Verizon Wireless, Cingular, Orange Mobile UK, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile, Digi, Telenor, Airtel, Orascom etc are also supported.

Please do share which one you liked the best and which one you truly hated! Also please subscribe to the RSS feed to keep yourself updated about the latest releases in Nokia Symbian Themes. Cheers and have a fantastic day peeps!

Slick IM Client for Symbian OS | Application Download

Whether you are a all chillin’ gal or a totally groovin’ guy, you need friends or buddies. Not only that, since you were born and started to get out of momma’s couch I am sure all of you made friends. Then you hit childhood right? Bunked classes, cheated on the exams, played Frisbee or football together with your friends. Your first mobile might be a Nokia 8250 or a Siemens A10 with a calculator like display and most of you took your friends to the shop to buy them just like I did. Some of those childhood friends are still with you and some are lost in the transition of being a man or taking up responsibilities of your family. Now when you are at work in the office you don’t get friends but only colleagues and you know you miss your best friend or your dearest one who might be living in a different country, with different people or in your country working his/her butt off just like you. Work won’t let you get in facebook (unless via FaceBook on symbian!) or msn messenger so that you can chat to them when you are free or even when you are not free. Bloody firewalls! No matter wherever you are, stay connected to your friends, families or even your foes (…maybe) with this next free application I am going to publish!

The Slick IM Client for Symbian!

Yepp! That is the exact name of this symbian application through which you will be connected with your online or offline friends through MSN messenger or AOL, ICQ and Yahoo messenger or any other messenger for that fact. Slick is an “all in one” social messenger with rich features which can save you money and can be quite exciting. Not only that, through the new Slick IM client you will be able to group talk or conference talk on the go straight from your mobile using internet data connectivity and nothing else. The wonders of Nokia mobile phones is certainly its user friendly graphical user interface (or GUI) and the ability of its engine to efficiently use the operating system, mainly the open source Symbian OS. This particular messenger have two things which it seems to keep in mind when it was built for the first time, ease of use and rich features.

Most of the times when you mix those two you get neither of them. Either you end up with a memory eating monster or you end up with a simple IM client which only lets you talk through MSN or Yahoo! which really is not utilizing the capability of a Nokia smartphone like the high end devices from S60 N-Series or E-Series. Nokia N95 was a total success for Nokia but one thing that even that fantastic pda like handset or mobile phone lacked was the ability of it to communicate through different external protocols. Slick IM client deminishes that entirely and lets you use your smartphones to the fullest. With the Slick IM application installed on your symbian 3rd edition devices you will be able to talk in real time to your friends no matter how far they, whether they are using a desktop, laptop or a Nokia like you makes no difference to what Slick IM can provide you at your end. Want to share a picture which you just took through your high end 5 mb or 3.2 mb camera of the phone? No problem, just click and send through the IM and your friend talking to you on the other end of the world will get it pronto. Of course the speed of the file transfers entirely depends on the ability of your phone modem, so if you have a basic GPRS modem you will get around 10KBps speed. If you are on any other faster and more advanced devices like the Nokia N73 or N80, N95, N78, N96, E90, E61 etc then you will probably have the EDGE or 3G wireless modem built inside your phone, thus letting you use the total speed your network carrier like AT&T Wireless or Orange Mobile Uk. Additionally, you can also send and receive animated images, mp3 quality sound clips or audio files, zip files, midi files, office documents etc. Virtually anything you want to send can be transferred if your friend on the other hand supports it.

With the Slick instant messenger installed in your phone you will not have to display that you are from Slick in your status message in MSN messenger. Slick also supports AIM, ICQ, Google Chat, Jabber, Yahoo! Messenger beside the most widely used MSN Messenger. Just like in the laptop or PC, when a member signs in you will get a notification alert and the same goes for any incoming messages. Slick also lets you control the sound options from low to a very high. You can turn on or off the IM history depending on how you want it to be. If you are unsure about privacy then my personal opinion is to turn that feature off cause IM histories can be quite personal for some people. It also offers offline message sending, though it depends on what protocol you are using and if that particular protocol supports it or not. You also have the funny emoticons support for all the IM protocols which makes the conversations very lively and fun. I love emoticons btw, what about you?

Slick is also compatible with a load full devices of Nokia 3rd edition symbian OS 9.1 phones including the Nokia N91, N92, N93, N95, N96, N82, N81, N80, N78, N77, N75, N76, N73, N72, N71, 5700 Xpress Music, 5710, 5500 Sport, 3250, 6120, 6121, 6290, E50, E51, E60, E61, E62, E65, E70, E66, E71, E90, 6110 etc. All major GSM and CDMA networks including AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Orange Mobile UK, Rogers, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile UK, Hutch, Telstra, Telenor, AllTel, Sprint, Criket, Optus, Verizon Wireless, MTN, Airtel etc are supported. Please subscribe to the RSS feed before downloading this fantastic application to your phone. Godspeed!

Asphalt Elite Racing 4 | Nokia Game

The Porche Carrera 911 GT 2 Turbo hits your phone screen face up this time around with Asphalt Elite Racing episode 4. Just like we played on our desktop or laptop once upon a time, the game Need For Speed Porche Unleashed, Asphalt Elite Racing brings you the latest endeavor of a similar racing game for smartphones and mobile. Well, at least the car is almost the same. I must admit that I always have something special when I think of a Porche, any Porche and the Carrera Coupe Turbo is among the top three of my most favorite cars ever. Living in Bangladesh where speed-bumps will never even allow a Porche to be driven and where total cost of any imported cars are 310% tax against face value + the face value itself, it is only an impossible dream to ever drive one! And taka is way too devalued against dollars in the current foreign exchange rate, for example, one USD means 70 Taka here right now.

Anyway, I am way too off topic at the moment as I seem to get lost in a dream when I think of Porche. Back to the game and I must say that this high definition (HD) game is a follow up of the Asphalt Series consisting of Urban GT, Street Rules etc. Like the previous one, this game is also astoundingly similar in terms of high quality sound effects! Except the cars maybe, and the overall graphics of this mobile game which seem to have improved a wee-lil-bit when you press the Nitrous Di Oxide or NOS button for full thrust, this symbian game is enjoyable! Love the blurry part more than anything else in this game. The tracks are new and there is a lotta snow around so you can be pretty sure that controlling the cars will be a huge challenge. And unlike the last episode, this game is mainly designed on a “Are you better than me when turning in the corners?” gameplay. Beside the Porche 911, you also get the chance to drive a Lamborghini Diablo, A Ferrari and some other luxurious brands which brings me to my next point, speed!

The speed of the cars are simply phenomenal and it seems that the overall design of this game engine deserves a 5 upon 5. The acceleration of the cars are pretty wild, of course it varies from cars to cars, but the difference is minimal compared to the overall speed. In terms of overall handling on the dry scorching roads of Arizona, it is great and quite easy. The game actually picks up its gears when you step up on the elite zone and race over the snow. Slide baby Slide!! I loved the overall experience driving on the snowy roads as it was pretty difficult to race on, avoid the cops, their bloody helicopters and control the cars at speeds over 350 KM/H or roughly 250 M/H. Like the previous version of the game, the more you gain speed or bump against incoming traffic, the more “wanted” you are in the radar of the law and the more difficult plus aggressive the feds and cops become. So do watch out the corners and try not to bump too much as I can assure ya that if the feds are after your car then you have no bloody chance of escaping, so forget about winning the race! The story of the game is quite boring compared to Street Rules and I am disappointed in this part.

You can free ride, joy ride and race! You can ride a motorbike (…a racing and good looking Yamaha of course) to evade faster or to get yourself in cold zone during a chase. This have serious impact on the overall game however as you might get bored and never complete the tracks ever which will be a real waste of a good game. In terms of compatibility, this game should run on all 3rd edition Nokia S60 N-Series, E-Series, Symbian OS 9.1 and 9.2 devices. Handsets suchs as the N-Series N76, N73, N81, N82, N80, N71, N77, N91, N92, N95, the hot new Nokia N78 and N96 should work smoothly. E-Series smartphones or pda like E50, E51, E71, E60, E61, E65, E62, E66, E70, E90 is also compatible. The other handhelds like the Nokia 6120, 6110, 6121, 3250, 5700, 5500, 5610 Xpress Music, 5710, 6600 Slide, Arte & 7500, 7900 Prism are also in the long list of supported phones. Major network carriers, both GSM and CDMA based ones like AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile, Hutch, Virgin Mobile UK, Vodafone, Vodacom, Telenor, Orange Mobile UK, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Digi Malaysia, Orascom etc should have no problem with it regardless of it being a Java based game.
