Core Codec Player Mobile | Nokia Application

Greetings everyone! Watching movies on the Nokia smartphones actually began to pick up its throttle when the trend of 3gpp almost diminished to Smartmovie’s Divx media format playing capability. All the latet mobiles from Nokia and others slowly, but surely, started to increase the actual size of the phone’s screen which added even more emphasis to video playback on the smartphones. Then along came the DivX players and others to play movies or clips straight from the mobile phones and with all the N-Series S60 phones having fantastic music edition versions popping up, the meaning of mobile movies started to creep in.

One of the earliest application that was successfully picking up its market was the Core Codec player and it wasn’t till late January when end users started to realize that Core Codec does not only adds movie playback on your symbian devices but it also brings a numerous audio and video codecs along with it, thus virtually making it an one stop all in one solution for handheld media. Core Codec player (or Core Player Mobile) is now the most effective solution out there in the market which actually synchronizes its features with the next generation media features and functions like Bluetooth A2DP support, mobile YouTube or mobile FLV playback support on your symbian smartphones, playing a bunch of audio formats and many other features. Core Player Mobile supports almost all the available formats of video like the MKV, MPEG-1, Theora, MPEG-4 part 2 (ASP), DivX, XviD, MSVIDEO1, WMV, Dirac, H.264 (AVC), MJPEG etc. It also has the built in features which lets it play YouTube videos straight from your cell phone, yes my friends, Core Player Mobile can play FLV movies on the go.

If you are a Podcaster then this can be a dream application for you as it will turn your Nokia smartphone into a full fledged Podcast player letting you reach to your friends and listeners worldwide without any additional softwares or platform. It also brings the power of Enhanced Podcasting and Core Caster functionality on your smartphones. Since it supports the UIQ, iPhone, Windows Mobile Platform, Palm and Symbian OS 9.1 & 9.2 platforms, Core Player mobile had to keep a common ground for both. And they did, they kept a simple user friendly interface on the front end so that even if you switch your handset from SonyEricsson to Nokia or from your Windows Mobile 5 to Nokia S60 3rd, you still can enjoy the same old navigation and features when you install Core Player Mobile. It is bluetooth ready from the get go and supports both A2DP and AVRCP transfers.

When I said all media formats, I meant all media formats! It also supports image management and so on, thus extending it further to be an image manager beside a video and audio player for your smartphones. Jpeg, Gif, Tiffm Mjpeg, Bmp and PNG… you show it that file’s location on your memory card and it will open it up easily. The application is super fast when it comes to image management and is far better than the stock “gallery” option of Nokia which will take an hour to load if you have thousands of images on your mem card. Core Player Mobile also supports media streaming within a few important protocols like Http, Udp, Rdp, Rtp, Rtsp, Rtcp, Asf and Asx. For the average user all these media formats might sound a little new, but trust me what you listen on your Virgin Mobile Radio or Pandora are done through these protocols and now you have them on your phone. So go ahead and open up your own mobile internet radio station today, free!

Core Player Mobile also lets you add custom universally supported skins on it and the widget that comes with it is damn easy to manage and execute, letting you customize the outlook of the player the way you see fit. So inspire youself to create your own skin and use it on your Core. In the future it will also integrate subtitles option which is something I am looking forward to.

Core Player Mobile supports all the major GSM and WCDMA network providers like T-Mobile, Orange Mobile UK, AT&T Wireless, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Hutch, Telstra, Cingular, Airtel, Reliance Mobile, Telenor, Digi, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile UK etc and more. Compatible with all the latest symbian 3rd edition S60 N-Series and E-Series cell phones of Nokia and others like N95, N95 8gb, N96, N91, N92, N93, N85, N82, N79, N81, N80, N78, N77, N76, 3250, 6121, 6220, 6110, 6120, 5310, 5200, 6300, N75, N73, E50, E60, E70, E90, E51, E61, E71, E66, E62, E65, 5700 Xpress Music, 5500, 5610, 5710 etc and more. Panoman | Nokia Application

Life is finally in 360 degree mode! Literally too! Ever wondered how beautiful life will look like if you can capture what’s all around you, in front of you and behind you and even at both the sides at the same time? I know it is kinda hard to even imagine this but it is now possible to have a third eye with your Nokia smartphones in hand and this superb and creative application installed in it. Today I am publishing the most sensational and intelligent application ever built for any kind of symbian OS based 3rd edition smartphones. It is called Panoman and it lets you do things that no other application ever can. Let me get into the details real fast.

Panoman creates a 360 degree panorama with your mobile camera phone in your hands. It’s fast and easy and the engine is virtually a einstein itself. All you have to do is take the phone in your hands and rotate yourself to a complete circle and voila! the scan engine intelligently captures, generates and extracts you a flat image of your surroundings in a single picture. This application snaps the scenery at real time and lets you enjoy the image with true clarity, no noise or blur or whatsoever. It also lets you edit your panorama on the go just after you have captured it. Not only that with Panoman you will be able to watch a landscape mode preview of the image that will be fetched if you finalize it. This version of Panoman is 3 and it also has a major improvement in its heap size or in other simple words it will let you snap around 12 frames in one rotating session!

It is quite obvious that if the Sun is in front of you and you rotate yourself then there is a strict possibility that your end panorama based image will have a dark side and a bright side right? Wrong! Panoman also have automatic and manual image exposure correction and with this application in your S60 phones, you can be sure that the end image will bear a constant light and exposure in it. It also have built in white balance through which you will be able to fix the color tone in accordance to the overall light condition. So in a cloudy day there will be more white to make things more clear and precise in the image. You also get an image capturing sound when performing a 360 degree session and it will let you save the image in the memory card of your phone or in the phone memory, whichever suites your handsets and devices better. If you are carrying a super duper phone like the Nokia N95, N95 8gb or a Nokia N82 then you will also be enjoying the Auto Focus option. This will let you take your image without you messing it up, a shaky hand and some missed steps might result in losing focus obviously which the auto focus of Panoman can handle quite efficiently.

The intelligent scanning engine integrates so well with your digital mobile camera that it actually “anticipates the next move” after every single frame, thus letting the symbian OS create a dynamic and parallel image. The overall shading doesn’t break at all which is quite unbelievable and I have no clue on how it actually is possible, but it sure is possible!! Tested! Throughout the whole panorama, Panoman maintains a constant color tone and image brightness which is really vital for the quality of the end image. Panoman really pulls it out without any issues at all and it pulls it out in style!! Enough blah blah from me, just take a look at how it works and how the images look like and you will be so satisfied yourself that you will surely get it right on about now!

SkyFire - Browsing Made Easy | Mobile Application

The most useful feature for any phone these days beside its talking ability is the fact that you are connected to the World Wide Web from almost anywhere you are as long as your GSM or CDMA provider covers it under their network. From Wap to GPRS to EDGE and then fueled by the power of 3G speeds, technology have really outgrown our expectations the last few years. The wireless sector specially saw immense growth and even in our small, rebellious country called Bangladesh almost 5 crore people are using cell phones or smartphones. That’s a huge number considering we are a very poor country in terms of gross economy. Anyhow, the best thing is that the introduction of mobile gprs and Edge have really made it possible for people living in the most remote area now getting fast access to the internet. With that being said, in places like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Finland etc the usage of mobile phone and the internet packet data is really vast and “ever green”.

However, one thing everyone lacked was the ability to surf from the phone via the entire HTTP mode. In simple words, most webpages which were previously not made for WAP connectivity and compatibility was completely inaccessible through cell phones. Then came Opera into the scene and changed everything about internet browsing from your mobile phones by introducing the phenomenal browser Opera Mobile. Symbian OS and Opera Mobile surely is the best combo one can expect from his or her Nokia right? I mean only Flash based content was missing!!!! Then the Nokia N95 was introduced and again internet browsing shifted gears for the better by having a full HTTP mobile based browser with “mouse type scrolling” built in and most importantly, the symbian engine built in the phone supported Flash Lite which is even more superb and made the scene quite complete. I really can’t thank Flash Lite and its developers enough for that honestly because I personally love the overall Flash Lite experience.

And now, we have SkyFire! What is SkyFire? SkyFire is a state of the art mobile and smartphones based browser which is completely free to use and share. It supports everything you can think of literally and the browsing speed is just quite awesome. I don’t know if you experienced it yourself but in my wife’s phone, the Nokia simply sometimes hung up because the web pages that were being loaded through Opera Mobile surpassed the Java heap memory that the phone provides. Quality rendering was always not an option simply because of this. But SkyFire really changes all that because SkyFire apparently uses an efficient and intelligent engine which seems to balance the load on the phone memory very well and the cache does not load up the phone’s “point of explosion” (..know what I mean.) Not only that with SkyFire you can be quite sure that you will see the web as if you are browsing from your laptop or desktop pc.

Though we do have streaming based applications like the MobiTubia or the EmTube for watching our favorite videos but did you still not wonder that, when it will be time for YouTube to be mobile browser friendly? Opera mobile 8.5 certainly did not support it and for a time being it seemed that this is how its gonna go on forever, stand alone application for watching You Tube videos in mobile. Wrong again!!! With SkyFire you will be able to watch your favorite videos from your soon to be favorite browser SkyFire. You can even browse Facebook in full mode and not only the Facebook mobile version and even with the new look enabled. Chaning rendering and browsing resolution is now only a click away in your Nokia phones!

With Skyfire the fun does not stop here! Skyfire also have a built in map database which they seemed to have acquired via a partnership with a GPS navigation provider like Google Maps or Nokia Maps or something. In simple words, you will be able to render live maps just like in Garmin Mobile or TomTom Navigator straight up. The features do not stop here honestly because the standard files download, low quality high quality mode, one click shortcuts, save page mode are also there. Seriously you Iphone Safari guys and Opera Mobile fanatics (..which actually includes me at times) really need to check this out if you haven’t already. This is quite a browser and I feel that it will seriously change the way we once thought we can browse from Nokia based devices or handsets. The rendering is exceptionally fast and so is the loading which is a real plus for this really complete mobile browser. The overall experience through SkyFire is simply superb!!

Skyfire is equipped to be compatible with all Nokia 3rd edition S60 N-Series and E-Series symbian phones including the Nokia N91, N92, N93, N95, N96, N78, N81, N80, N92, N73, N75, N76, N71, E50, E61, E62, E65, E60, E66, E70, E71, E90, 6120, 6121, 5700 Xpress Music, 5500, 5710, 3250, 6110, 8800 Sirocco and Luna etc and more. All major GPRS, EDGE and 3G networks like the AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Orange Mobile Uk, Virgin Mobile, Telstra, T-Mobile, Optimus, Vodafone, Sprint, Rogers, Airtel, Cingular, Hutch, Digi etc are well supported. Also the Windows Mobile based PDA phones are supported too. I am quite sure that you will love this browser and so I hope that you will subscribe to my feeds because I will be most happy if you do. Enjoy your day peeps and always please comment and leave your thoughts!! Cheers!

Resco Photo Viewer | S60 Smart Phones

One of the worst thing of both S60 and S40 smartphones is the fact that when you enter its default gallery menu it takes a hell lot of time to load. Resco Photo Viewer solves that and does so much more. One might say that Resco photo viewer is a symbian based application which is the the merge between Microsoft Powerpoint with Adobe Photoshop for handhelds and pda devices. With Resco photo viewer version 4.5 you can open almost any type or format of images which can thrown at your smartphone.

Whether you use a mobile phone like Nokia N95 or Nokia 76, everyone is always keen to know how the camera performs, how much detailed mega pixels it supports and so on. As for example, the Nokia N95 NAM can take pictures up to a whopping 5 mega pixels and when you take a picture through it the image size becomes way too much to browse, open or manage from your cell phones. Resco photo viewer, well more of a editor or manager one might say, runs on a powerful symbian software engine. This makes this one of a kind application the most fastest browser for any smartphones in the market. Browsing through gigabytes of images and showing it to your friends becomes so much fun!

You can manage and edit slideshows straight from the phone! Beside the slides, you can additionally crop, copy, zoom, color and resize an image with two clicks. The MMS feature of any network carrier like AT&T or Orange Mobile UK supports a max size of 100 KB of file size to be sent, thus making the normal pictures taken from a smartphone quite impossible to send on the go. If you take a good picture and have Resco Viewer installed then you can actually send the picture as a MMS by pressing one single key, the image you want send will shrink just under 100KB and all you have to do is specify the number you wish to send the image to. Of course the infrared and bluetooth option is there as well.

With Resco you can edit the slide templates, how they will appear and even the transitions of the slides. You can export the slide directly to a computer and give a presentation from your Nokia S60 smartphone without any hassle. It also supports animations or .gif extensions and it doesn’t freeze in between changing of animated images like the default Nokia image gallery sometimes do when the file size becomes too large for it to handle. If you use a mobile fax application then you can send, view, edit and receive fax images straight from your cell phone. It also have an auto-fix feature built in which fixes images like magic! Even if you take a memory card of your Sony digicam and insert it into the Nokia memory slot then this cool little application can even view or edit those without any difficulty at all.

Without any doubt and with all these options I am sure you will want to replace your default viewer with this and will also want images to open straight through this application and not the default image viewer of Nokia right? Resco does this too! You can choose and make it the default image viewing application for your Nokia so that when you open an image through an application like the S60 File Explorer, Resco viewer will open up and not the default viewer which will instantly freeze your screen for five minutes!

This mobile software is compatible with Nokia S60 phones, both N-Series and E-Series! Meaning, all Nokia 3rd edition devices like Nokia N81, N82, N91, Nokia E50, N71, N80, E51, E60, E61, E61i, E62, E65, E70, E90, Nokia 3250, 5500 Sport, N73, N75, N76, N77, N78, 5700 Xpress Music, 6110 Navigator, N92, N93, N93i, N95, N96, 6120 classic, 6121, 6210 Navigator, 6220, 6290 are supported. This application is also network independent and will work in both GSM and CDMA post and prepaid operators like AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Telstra, Digi, Djuice, Orange Mobile Uk, Vodafone, Hutch, Cingular etc.

Warelex Mobiola Webcam | Nokia Application

Greetings everyone! Today I present you with a very useful application for the symbian 3rd edition handsets and smartphones. I am sure that many of you have already heard about it in the past or been using it like you should but for those who doesn’t, I am presenting you Warelex Mobiola Webcam. Through this superb application you will be able to convert your cell phone, smartphone or pda into a high end desktop or laptop webcam. You can do it via hi-speed USB, Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity. I personally prefer the bluetooth or wifi connectivity as you can have the independence from all the wires around you which the USB data cable always has. Beside all these, the latest version of Warelex Mobiola webcam also offers instant screenshots or capture. It also have the option to live stream your handheld’s screen on the monitor of the PC or laptop. Meaning, you can control your phone by looking at the PC directly! This newest version also comes with a cool new feature, basically you now have the freedom to stylize your video instantly through a video filter which is built in the application itself and doesn’t require any other additional devices, hardwares or softwares.

Warelex Mobiola Download

Warelex Mobiola bluetooth webcam also works with nearly all the instant messaging applications of your laptop like the Skype, AIM, ICQ or Google Talk. Of course both the Yahoo! messenger and MSN Messenger are all well supported with this amazing cool application. This necessarily means that you will be able to show your live video or feed directly to your friends in almost any kind of messaging application that you use in your pc. The streaming rate or the video quality depends entirely on your network carrier and devices specifications. As for example if you are using the prepaid AT&T Wireless Pay as you go plan or the GoPhone or a contract cell phone of T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless and use a handset of Nokia 3rd edition, then you can expect that the streaming quality will be really awesome and clear because the 3G or EDGE speed of the modem goes perfectly with their high end mobile wireless networks, thus giving you a completely decent output in the messenger. However if you are using a smartphone with a GPRS modem only, then the quality will be decent enough but not as good as it could have been if it was used with the contract Nokia AT&T phone.

But, you can be sure that the quality will still be pretty nice even if you are on a Nokia with a slower modem in it or if your mobile network operator does not provide a very high speed connection like the 3G. In either case the quality is way better than any standard webcams out there for the pc. The quality however, also depend on the camera’s capacity but rarely that matters cause when you are chatting in MSN and using it, the screen of the MSN window really does not show you any motion blurs from what I have seen when using it with a 1.3 megapixel camera phone.

Please do not forget to subscribe to the RSS feed, it keeps you updated and keeps me going in my mind and makes me add new content regularly. Both the RSS and E-mail Subscription is free! Also, do leave your comments and experiences with this application as I love to read your comments as well. This application is supported with all the 3rd edition Nokia NSeries and ESeries S60 cell phones like the E70, E90, N71, N91, N92, 6121, 6290, Prism, Arte, E61, E60, E65, E62, N73, N76, E71, N80, N81, N82, E51, E65, N93i, N95, N93, 3250, 5500, 5700 Xpress Music, 6120, E50, N96, N78 etc and more. Almost all carriers are supported including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cingular, Orange Mobile UK, Hutch, Sprint, Digi, Telenor, Vodafone etc. Also this should also work regardless of you using a contract based phone plan or a prepaid plan.

I also released an earlier version of Warelex webcam application in the past, but this one is the latest version so get it now!

Also note that if you are running the free version of AVG antivirus in your pc then it might say that there is a threat in this application, however I can assure you that all other good anti virus applications like Norton Symantec, ETrust, F-Secure or McAfee antivirus says it is perfectly safe and there is nothing to worry.

You can also take a look at the video of how it works:
