Greetings and a very happy month of July my valued visitors! With this new month just entering our doors I decided to present you with a stealth based game, a famous stealth based game to say the least! Splinter Cell Double Agent for all types of Nokia S60, S40 and J2ME based handhelds and smartphones! Guess who’s back in this episode? Oh yeah you guessed it right, he is the veteran elite stealth maestro Sam Fisher! This time around he will face one of the most advaced terrorist groups who’s trying to destroy the United States and other major countries of the world and bring complete doom to the world once and for all. In Splinter Cell Double Agent, Sam Fisher’s mission is to infiltrate the organization from within their base, using his artful moves and breathtaking tactics to the extreme. And for the very first time you will yourself experience how it is to be a double agent and walking the thin line between life and death.

This is a complete strategy based tactical game and using your offensive skills only to kill terrorist won’t really help. To achieve success you must use your intelligence, wits and offensive skills. You just cannot go ahead and kill all the terrorists that reside in the organization one by one because when they realize it and most of their team mates are gone for good, you will be hunt down and most possibly killed instantly. Or, worse even, the missiles will be launched against the billions of innocent people of the world. You have to choose whom to kill, how many to kill so that they do not notice and most importantly how to kill when you do kill. Double Agent brings the use of advanced and most thrilling strategies that you probably experienced in the very first episode. But this game is really one of its kind because the graphics are to die for and so are the overall gameplay. Patience my friend, is a virtue after all! You are a whole new Sam Fisher in this one and you gotta say, I love it!

The gameplay is also a time trial to make things more difficult and interesting! You can’t wait for too long to get the terrorist in position and again you can’t go ahead, step in front and use your knife in light. Like I said, use your head! You have to have a good balance in everything you do, all the actions you ought to take and always remember that time is of the essence and you have to be alive when that time limit is over, cause doing all those won’t matter if millions are killed cause you wanted to be safe or if you are dead and they all are alive, know what I mean? This game is really quite a blast and you will have a very good time playing it, trust me on this one.

One of the best thing about Nokia is that you can fully utilize its symbian OS capability and make your phone stand out from the default one in the market. You can customize and pimp the operating system and its overall “extensions/applications” or software features so much that your Nokia N73 will do everything what a Nokia N95 8gb can do, generally speaking of course. One of the drawback of the default Nokia is that you cannot view the full picture of the person calling you, even if you assign a picture to that specific contact, the default size is so small that it is almost useless. Wouldn’t it be so much better and cooler if you can view a full screen picture of the incoming caller in your phone? Hence, I present to you one of the finest and coolest symbian application to date, Best Full Screen Caller for 3rd Edition symbian mobile smartphones.

Full screen caller does exactly what the name implies, it shows a full screen image of the person who should be from your contacts list and who is calling you or when you are calling them. Meaning, for both incoming and outgoing calls you will see a fullscreen picture of the contact. Now you may ask what if I want to do a conference call and have to call another person when I am already within a call, will it work? The answer is yes! No matter in what way you are, the picture will be shown. Not only that, the Best Full Screen Caller have taken this a step further and lets you edit details of the person that will be shown with the picture as caption when he or she is calling you and vice versa. Of course you have the option to change the text color, the image quality that will be shown along with the texts, or you can deactivate full screen caller for specific numbers or just deactivate the texts that would be otherwise shown. Besides that you can control and adjust the backlight, the size of the layout of the text box and what not! Anyway, in my opinion keeping the pictures and the default captions makes the incoming caller look like as if it is a Full Screen ID of the caller.

This really is a cool application and a feature which Nokia should have incorporated in all the S60 and S40 handhelds, but they didn’t! Till they do that, we can always use this one quite smoothly! The application is really easy to install, set up and uninstall and assigning pictures can be automatic or manual. If you have pictures already assigned to contacts from the default Nokia phone menu then Full Screen Caller imports that pictures and shows an enlarged version of it. You can also do it manually though. This quality application is free to use and all I ask is for you to subscribe to my RSS feed, subscription is totally free with no catch at all! Abracadaball is one of the finest and most sensational game available for any kind of phones, let it be S60 or S40 3rd edition, second edition or something else. The game is based on a very simple mechanism, aim, shoot and destroy your targets. The gameplay is quite easy and the buttons to shoot and steer along with the targets are quite straight forward. The most exciting part of the game is when you destroy your target, you can use all the four elements which are fire, water, wind and earth. After every single shot that you destroy the target with you will see a spectacular firework or “graphic caricature”. It reminds me of the superb explosion from the saga of Sky Force. Of course this game is totally different in terms of Sky Force! Here you basically have to cast spells with those elements and shoot them via a funny machine gun. You have five modes of gameplay including the quick start, the story mode or career, survival of the fittest, endurance and the Boss Rush. The game itself is quite long with around 66 different levels to finish and 9 unique environment where you can choose to play. This game is really engaging!

With quick start you cannot go level by level as its a default set of weapons, good for playing it the first time or the second time. Fun starts with the career mode as you progress against tougher and faster moving opponents and you have to kill them in a shorter span of time. I personally am kinda addicted to this particular mode. Also you can choose to play the survival mode where you have to survive against really advanced opponents with loads of weapons and spells, but you on the other hand will have much limited resource. This mode is really tough for a first timer to be a master of. In endurance mode you have to escape the opponents and their ammunition, you cant shoot em but you can trick them to kill each other. The endurance mode is really much fun!! In the Boss Rush mode you simply will face the bosses of each round one by one and you have to kill them. This mode is very much fun if you are in a hurry and want to take revenge of last night’s failure where the boss killed you in the career mode, know what I am talking about?

Anyway, all in all this game is really fun and addictive! You will love it if you are a fan of Super Mario or Sonic Hedgehog or games like that! The easy gameplay and the jaw dropping graphics and explosion are the factors that really sets this game apart from anything else in its class!

Ahoy everyone! Being fabulous? It’s been way too long since I released any of my themes. Don’t blame me! I just got busy with work. Ah well! Anyway, I joined a new company for work as an Assistant Manager! Looking forward to it a lot. Hope to keep up the expectations. Hence, I couldn’t find time to design anything new. However, since Friday and Saturdays are weekends in Bangladesh I am planning to design a theme every Friday only as for me, every Saturday I have to go to work. I don’t know how successful I will be with this plan, but I am gonna try my best for everyone! Anyway, today I am actually going to publish an old symbian theme, a follow up of Posh Blue and Posh Green. This one is called Posh Red and it is the last one of this “Posh” series. This should work fine with any 2nd or 3rd edition smartphones and handhelds. I completely forgot about this theme, so I never published it before, silly of me I know!! I love the warmth of its color and the ribbons, glitters that really gives it a precious, rich look.

I really hope that you will like it, however if this theme is not compatible with your Nokia or SonyEricsson phone then please let me know by leaving a comment here. I really do not remember if I designed this with the Carbide 3.2 or 3.1, but I found this in my folder of 3.1. So if this doesn’t work with the older version of your firmware then I will know that from next week I have to design all my themes by Carbide 3.2 lol. The game play is nothing short of a full 5 on 5, however I am so accustomed to play it in my pc that I cannot give it a full 5 points. Bite Me!! Anyway, in Airborne you will one of the soldiers of the 82nd division for the United States in the 2nd World War and you will literally jump into action as a paratrooper from a B52 Bomber. Your opponent obviously is the teeth clenching, die hard Germans who will match you step to step with their own witty tactics and determination. You will take part in the historical D-Day that you probably saw in one of the movies about Second World War like for example Saving Private Ryan. You can’t just be unrealistic and shoot your enemies in this game, you have to use what matters to win, that is your brain. You will have to you use stealth mode and wait for the coast to get clear so that you can make your move and go for a quick kill. You can blow up oil barrels, use a sub machine gun, call for paratroopers reinforcements and of course use the best weapon for cover, sandbags!! Oh yeah! As a soldier named Boyd, (that’s your character in the game) you have to make sure that when the dust settles and the blood washes out, it is you who is standing tall and saving lives. This is not your usual mobile “shoot shoot shoot kill kill kill” game that you have surely played in the past. This game is really different and will make you a soldier, well at least for an hour altogether! One tip, use cover wisely when they are shooting you like a duck in the sky with their mortars and machine guns!! Also, follow the colors of the halo wisely as it determines the general mood and your situation in a particular place, whether you will get caught and kill or make your opponent die in your feet depends on it completely. I loved this game totally, but then again I am a gamer freak! This game is compatible with all the latest PDA and mobile cell phones bearing a Java based or Symbian based operating system.
