One of the most important aspect you always have to consider when you are out to a picnic or visiting a friend is the weather. Frequently, it is the weather that cancels the baseball or cricket matches in the big stadiums and you always have to suffer by getting wet under the rain because in spite of everything, you did reach to the stadium premises to watch the big match. Or consider a situation that you are really tight on schedule and you are heading to work cause you have to attend an important meeting with the top management of your company where you will have to present the new ideas through a projector. You dress up in the most pitch perfect way possible and the moment you step outside, rain starts to fall like it is the end of the world!! Gone are the days of such misery because with your Nokia handhelds in your pocket and a little bit of help from the 3G or EDGE Gprs connectivity, you will be able to get the latest updates of what is going to happen around the place you live in or have to travel right through. Thus it is always said that weather services are the most important value added services for mobile phones users or for them who spends a lot of time traveling! Read more

The most useful feature for any phone these days beside its talking ability is the fact that you are connected to the World Wide Web from almost anywhere you are as long as your GSM or CDMA provider covers it under their network. From Wap to GPRS to EDGE and then fueled by the power of 3G speeds, technology have really outgrown our expectations the last few years. The wireless sector specially saw immense growth and even in our small, rebellious country called Bangladesh almost 5 crore people are using cell phones or smartphones. That’s a huge number considering we are a very poor country in terms of gross economy. Anyhow, the best thing is that the introduction of mobile gprs and Edge have really made it possible for people living in the most remote area now getting fast access to the internet. With that being said, in places like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Finland etc the usage of mobile phone and the internet packet data is really vast and “ever green”. Greetings occupants! Whether you are using a music phone with a 8gb memory limit or a phone with 256 mb card, virus sucks! Are you not sick of the virus that’s sending SMS or MMS messages from your phone without you knowing what exactly is happening? Are you not tired of your friends telling you that you and your Nokia sucks cause last night I received a SMS from you and when I opened it, I was ‘virus-fied’ too! I know, I once had a serious problem with the Cabir virus and all my friends and colleagues were going nuts cause they were telling me that I was sending them Bluetooth invites and sending them viruses! Being a Nokia freak myself, I was almost devasted by the accusations. So I had to do something about it!!! Read more
