Ahoy everyone! Crash Bandicoot Kart 3D is one of the most successful game ever to be released for the PSP and Nintendo Gameboy console. Later it did hit Playstation 2 and Playstation 3, where it single handedly outperformed the total sale of both the PSP and Nintendo together! Later that same year they made it clear that they want the market for the PDA and palmtops by releasing it for Windows Mobile 4 and Windows Mobile 5. Now, we all that it was the end and we will never get to play it in our Nokia. But when the iPhone was introduced for the first time by the guys of Apple, the Bandicoot had to come out of the TV screen, the windows platform and hit the iPhone interface immediately. The only thing that was left after that was for this blast of a game to be released for the symbian and java platform of Nokia, LG, Samsung and SonyEricsson etc. When all hope was lost, it happened finally and Crash Nitro Kart 2 was introduced for the very first time!! The game of course was an instant hit in the Nokia cell phones market and why shouldn’t it be, its one hell of a good game! And now, after several months of development, its my utmost pleasure to present you Crash Bandicoot Kart 3D for Nokia mobiles and smartphones! Yeehaw!

Storyline:

Well, in this episode all hell have broken loose! Dr. Cortex and the ever so villainous Nitrous Oxide has made a pact to beat the ever so exciting and speedy heroes of this game, the Bandicoots! They are planning once again for complete world domination by beating the Bandicoots and it specially seems almost certain when the closest companion of Doc Cortex, Mr Ripper Roo joins the already invincible duo. How will they defeat the Bandicoots? The Evil Macho Man provides the Bandicoots with an offer they cannot refuse (mafia ishtyle baby!), in a stage Kart Tournament of course!

The winner obviously will receive the everlasting title and recognition as the Kings of Kart Racing and the loser will have to leave the island or forcefully exiled out of the N.Sanity island.

As the Bandicoots, you have to make sure that you do not lose your home obviously and you also have to make sure that the world does not get consumed in the grip of the Vortex, err… I mean Dr. Cortex!

Gameplay:

Awesome! That’s all I can say peeps! You can slide and glide and freak and skid all the way to the finish line. You have to maneuver your way through the falling meteors, make your way over the oceans and crash & burn against the heat of the sun on the drying desert of Egypt! You crash and burn almost everywhere else though lol.

Features:

The graphics are quite good, not the best out there but these kind of games actually gets wasted/slow with too much memory consuming processes. High Definition or HD game, it might not be but nonetheless it is almost Nokia N-Gage quality. The graphics are however not anything less than the standard and the screenshots prove that.

The speed of the game is really fast and furious. There are bonuses everywhere and the more you take them the better or more speedier you become. However taking all the opportunities is never easy and everyone knows that. The tracks are beautifully designed and there are turns and unpredictability every where you go. The tracks of this game are quite long and there are altogether 12 long tracks that you have to finish to win the tournament. The weapons are all funny lol! and you will have an awesome time shooting them out, it really suits the game perfectly. Last but not the least, the controllers can be configured according to your need and that makes this game even more enjoyable.

One of the best thing about Nokia is that you can fully utilize its symbian OS capability and make your phone stand out from the default one in the market. You can customize and pimp the operating system and its overall “extensions/applications” or software features so much that your Nokia N73 will do everything what a Nokia N95 8gb can do, generally speaking of course. One of the drawback of the default Nokia is that you cannot view the full picture of the person calling you, even if you assign a picture to that specific contact, the default size is so small that it is almost useless. Wouldn’t it be so much better and cooler if you can view a full screen picture of the incoming caller in your phone? Hence, I present to you one of the finest and coolest symbian application to date, Best Full Screen Caller for 3rd Edition symbian mobile smartphones.

Full screen caller does exactly what the name implies, it shows a full screen image of the person who should be from your contacts list and who is calling you or when you are calling them. Meaning, for both incoming and outgoing calls you will see a fullscreen picture of the contact. Now you may ask what if I want to do a conference call and have to call another person when I am already within a call, will it work? The answer is yes! No matter in what way you are, the picture will be shown. Not only that, the Best Full Screen Caller have taken this a step further and lets you edit details of the person that will be shown with the picture as caption when he or she is calling you and vice versa. Of course you have the option to change the text color, the image quality that will be shown along with the texts, or you can deactivate full screen caller for specific numbers or just deactivate the texts that would be otherwise shown. Besides that you can control and adjust the backlight, the size of the layout of the text box and what not! Anyway, in my opinion keeping the pictures and the default captions makes the incoming caller look like as if it is a Full Screen ID of the caller.

This really is a cool application and a feature which Nokia should have incorporated in all the S60 and S40 handhelds, but they didn’t! Till they do that, we can always use this one quite smoothly! The application is really easy to install, set up and uninstall and assigning pictures can be automatic or manual. If you have pictures already assigned to contacts from the default Nokia phone menu then Full Screen Caller imports that pictures and shows an enlarged version of it. Ahoy everyone! Being fabulous? It’s been way too long since I released any of my themes. Don’t blame me! I just got busy with work. Ah well! Anyway, I joined a new company for work as an Assistant Manager! Looking forward to it a lot. Hope to keep up the expectations. Hence, I couldn’t find time to design anything new. However, since Friday and Saturdays are weekends in Bangladesh I am planning to design a theme every Friday only as for me, every Saturday I have to go to work. I don’t know how successful I will be with this plan, but I am gonna try my best for everyone! Anyway, today I am actually going to publish an old symbian theme, a follow up of Posh Blue and Posh Green. This one is called Posh Red and it is the last one of this “Posh” series. This should work fine with any 2nd or 3rd edition smartphones and handhelds. I completely forgot about this theme, so I never published it before, silly of me I know!! I love the warmth of its color and the ribbons, glitters that really gives it a precious, rich look.

I really hope that you will like it, however if this theme is not compatible with your Nokia or SonyEricsson phone then please let me know by leaving a comment here. I really do not remember if I designed this with the Carbide 3.2 or 3.1, but I found this in my folder of 3.1. So if this doesn’t work with the older version of your firmware then I will know that from next week I have to design all my themes by Carbide 3.2 lol. I am a big fan of tennis when it comes to mobile games mainly cause it’s quite addictive and fun to play that in the mobile. These type of symbian or java games are usually one of those in which you get better with time as you keep playing it. The magic racket to say the least seems to draw in the attention when you are going to hit one of the high speed aces towards your opponent, much like the matrix lol. Anyway, I am positive that everyone will like this game and the wireless experience of Porte d’Auteuil, France will be quite a postive shocker. You also have the option to save your game in midway and resume it later when you have time to play which some of the other present tennis games lack. The controls are quite easy, however it’s not unrealistic. You can manually decide the force with which you want to return the ball, and the more you play, the more you master it. In the beginning its quite natural that all your rebounds will be out of place and all over the park. So, don’t lose hope!

Anyway, what this game lacks is the multiplayer functionality. However, I am quite hopeful that the future versions will have much needed multi player support! But till that one comes out, enjoy this one! Aye!
