K.O.D.E or Knights of the Dark Age is one of those game which seems to be inspired from Street Fighter or King of Fighters, mano-e-mano, you versus the laptop or desktop game, ported for your handheld. In this epic game for Nokia phones you get to engage your skills against furious opponents
in a gut wrenching combat in an unknown dimension discovered by the dirty and corrupted llthorion. The game is mainly tournament focused and with each opponent you destroy, a difficult and faster opponent steps in. Thus you progress in the tournament and at last face one hell of a gruesome boss! You get to choose your weapons from your surroundings or environment which will be provided around you when you are having the match against your opponent. In total there are five types of game modes available in Knights of the Dark Age, combat mode, versus mode, the survival mode, easy practice and a very innovative Pokemon style bloodcards match.

In the combat mode you can choose to fight with really difficult opponents in a tournament based match up or series. Every time you defeat an opponent, you advance to the next level and face an even more difficult opponent who is drooling to cut you to pieces. The opponents are really all equipped with superb moves and isn’t really a piece of pie to defeat. They will take you to the limit be sure of that.

One of the best part of the game however is the versus mode, well at least for me! Here you can play against your friend via bluetooth and thus enjoy the awesomeness of multiplayer and smartphone gaming. I tried to play this game myself with one of my friends and it really is a good experience, the gameplay doesn’t stop or pause in between the moves or in events where the graphics engine is running at full force.

In the survival or the time trial mode, you are thrown into a ticking time bomb so to speak and your aim will be to defeat the maximum number of opponents in that specified time, without breaks and life renenwing up. This part of the game is really very difficult and you can only master it once you have played this game enough times to know the moves really well.

In practice mode you can master your moves, and you really need to specially the “special moves”. Must inform you at this point that your handhelds keys really can make a difference for this game, the bigger the keys and the more space you have, the better and faster you will be able to play. The cellular phones from Nokia like N73, N81, N95 etc will do just fine! You also have the option to set up the difficulty level to high or low depending on your motivation to learn and master it overall.

Last, but not the least, is an innovative one of a kind bloodcards match. In other words you will be able to play online against people all around the world with cards, just like you do in Pokemon style games. It can be real fun cause you can see the rankings of other players who are playing this in their pda or cell phone and compare your position on the go!

Knights of the Dark Edge is actually one of the best 3D symbian mobile games available to date. The 3D rendering is almost as good as the graphics you see at Shadow Warrior, Lament Island or Doom 3D for PDA and cell phones. Plus you have the option of bluetooth multiplayer, online rankings and survivalism. This game is really one of the best out there so far according to me and will get you addicted to your favorite mobile phone in no time at all. K.O.D.E is compatible with all the major platforms of Nokia including N-Gage, Nokia N-Series and E-Series S60 smart phones. Abracadaball is one of the finest and most sensational game available for any kind of phones, let it be S60 or S40 3rd edition, second edition or something else. The game is based on a very simple mechanism, aim, shoot and destroy your targets. The gameplay is quite easy and the buttons to shoot and steer along with the targets are quite straight forward. The most exciting part of the game is when you destroy your target, you can use all the four elements which are fire, water, wind and earth. After every single shot that you destroy the target with you will see a spectacular firework or “graphic caricature”. It reminds me of the superb explosion from the saga of Sky Force. Of course this game is totally different in terms of Sky Force! Here you basically have to cast spells with those elements and shoot them via a funny machine gun. You have five modes of gameplay including the quick start, the story mode or career, survival of the fittest, endurance and the Boss Rush. The game itself is quite long with around 66 different levels to finish and 9 unique environment where you can choose to play. This game is really engaging!

With quick start you cannot go level by level as its a default set of weapons, good for playing it the first time or the second time. Fun starts with the career mode as you progress against tougher and faster moving opponents and you have to kill them in a shorter span of time. I personally am kinda addicted to this particular mode. Also you can choose to play the survival mode where you have to survive against really advanced opponents with loads of weapons and spells, but you on the other hand will have much limited resource. This mode is really tough for a first timer to be a master of. In endurance mode you have to escape the opponents and their ammunition, you cant shoot em but you can trick them to kill each other. The endurance mode is really much fun!! In the Boss Rush mode you simply will face the bosses of each round one by one and you have to kill them. This mode is very much fun if you are in a hurry and want to take revenge of last night’s failure where the boss killed you in the career mode, know what I am talking about?

Anyway, all in all this game is really fun and addictive! You will love it if you are a fan of Super Mario or Sonic Hedgehog or games like that! The easy gameplay and the jaw dropping graphics and explosion are the factors that really sets this game apart from anything else in its class!

Ahoy everyone! Being fabulous? It’s been way too long since I released any of my themes. Don’t blame me! I just got busy with work. Ah well! Anyway, I joined a new company for work as an Assistant Manager! Looking forward to it a lot. Hope to keep up the expectations. Hence, I couldn’t find time to design anything new. However, since Friday and Saturdays are weekends in Bangladesh I am planning to design a theme every Friday only as for me, every Saturday I have to go to work. I don’t know how successful I will be with this plan, but I am gonna try my best for everyone! Anyway, today I am actually going to publish an old symbian theme, a follow up of Posh Blue and Posh Green. This one is called Posh Red and it is the last one of this “Posh” series. This should work fine with any 2nd or 3rd edition smartphones and handhelds. I completely forgot about this theme, so I never published it before, silly of me I know!! I love the warmth of its color and the ribbons, glitters that really gives it a precious, rich look.

I really hope that you will like it, however if this theme is not compatible with your Nokia or SonyEricsson phone then please let me know by leaving a comment here. I really do not remember if I designed this with the Carbide 3.2 or 3.1, but I found this in my folder of 3.1. Your opponent obviously is the teeth clenching, die hard Germans who will match you step to step with their own witty tactics and determination. You will take part in the historical D-Day that you probably saw in one of the movies about Second World War like for example Saving Private Ryan. You can’t just be unrealistic and shoot your enemies in this game, you have to use what matters to win, that is your brain. You will have to you use stealth mode and wait for the coast to get clear so that you can make your move and go for a quick kill. You can blow up oil barrels, use a sub machine gun, call for paratroopers reinforcements and of course use the best weapon for cover, sandbags!! Oh yeah! As a soldier named Boyd, (that’s your character in the game) you have to make sure that when the dust settles and the blood washes out, it is you who is standing tall and saving lives. This is not your usual mobile “shoot shoot shoot kill kill kill” game that you have surely played in the past. This game is really different and will make you a soldier, well at least for an hour altogether! One tip, use cover wisely when they are shooting you like a duck in the sky with their mortars and machine guns!! Also, follow the colors of the halo wisely as it determines the general mood and your situation in a particular place, whether you will get caught and kill or make your opponent die in your feet depends on it completely. I loved this game totally, but then again I am a gamer freak! This game is compatible with all the latest PDA and mobile cell phones bearing a Java based or Symbian based operating system.
