For the first time ever there is a dedicated application to better communicate with your friends in Facebook. It is called Facebook for mobile or FBook and with this amazing free application you can not only change status or post on the wall but you can update and upload new pictures, share them on the go with your friends or groups in Facebook or simply add them to your photo album in facebook. Beside these you also have the option to send international or national SMS or picture MMS to your friends within the community and outside straight from your mobile handsets. The sms will go through the internet gateway and will not result in massive regular bills from your operator but only the regular internet data packet usage charge. How cool is that?

This application is developed under the Mess Mo community and as a community user you also have the option to send multiple types of e-mails with virtually any kind attachments including videos, audios, pictures and zip files. If you subscribe to my RSS feed via e-mail then you can get the emails delivered straight to your mobile phone without any fuss! Simple! Fbook or MessMo also features another amazing feature, broadcasting or friendcasting whatever you choose to call it. With this feature you can create your own unique channel and invite friends and then gossip around countless hours without the need for any kind of third party. You can choose to send group SMS and those who are not registered… well simply send them an invite without any cost and they wil automatically receive a SMS to download this application, join in your feed or broadcast. You also have the freedom to choose several sub-channels under your channels and mark them as for example, colleagues, friends, families and anything else you want to. With broadcasting everyone gets the latest buzz in real time without any “network jams”.

Anyway, let us come back to Facebook again cause at times I am a facebook addict. The usage of internet data is honestly minimal and you will not automatically sign out because of a time out issue which is a regular story for people using the opera mini or wap browser. The wap browser obviously gives you much less functionality to Facebook. You can’t virtually do anything else but change your status or just post in a wall of a friend. That sucks! This application is pretty much lightweight and based on java, hence it usually never crashes in the background when you are receiving a phone call or working with another application or even playing a good game such as Sky Force.

Medal of Honor: Airborne is the game we all have been waiting to be released for the symbian or java mobile platform and operating system for quite a while no. Good news is that this game supports both S40 and S60 NSeries, ESeries 2nd and 3rd edition devices of nearly all the brands including Nokia, LG, AudioVox, Motorola, Samsung, Kyocera, Toshiba and many more. The game play is nothing short of a full 5 on 5, however I am so accustomed to play it in my pc that I cannot give it a full 5 points. Bite Me!! Anyway, in Airborne you will one of the soldiers of the 82nd division for the United States in the 2nd World War and you will literally jump into action as a paratrooper from a B52 Bomber. Your opponent obviously is the teeth clenching, die hard Germans who will match you step to step with their own witty tactics and determination. You will take part in the historical D-Day that you probably saw in one of the movies about Second World War like for example Saving Private Ryan. You can’t just be unrealistic and shoot your enemies in this game, you have to use what matters to win, that is your brain. You will have to you use stealth mode and wait for the coast to get clear so that you can make your move and go for a quick kill. You can blow up oil barrels, use a sub machine gun, call for paratroopers reinforcements and of course use the best weapon for cover, sandbags!! Oh yeah! As a soldier named Boyd, (that’s your character in the game) you have to make sure that when the dust settles and the blood washes out, it is you who is standing tall and saving lives. This is not your usual mobile “shoot shoot shoot kill kill kill” game that you have surely played in the past. This game is really different and will make you a soldier, well at least for an hour altogether! One tip, use cover wisely when they are shooting you like a duck in the sky with their mortars and machine guns!! Also, follow the colors of the halo wisely as it determines the general mood and your situation in a particular place, whether you will get caught and kill or make your opponent die in your feet depends on it completely. I loved this game totally, but then again I am a gamer freak! This game is compatible with all the latest PDA and mobile cell phones bearing a Java based or Symbian based operating system. Hiya everyone! Today I am introducing to you one of the finest tennis games for cell phones and pda. It’s called Roland Garros Paris 2008 Championship. I am a big fan of tennis when it comes to mobile games mainly cause it’s quite addictive and fun to play that in the mobile. These type of symbian or java games are usually one of those in which you get better with time as you keep playing it. You will learn all the tactical spin shots, backhands, aces and quick short counters for a perfect striking return to the opponent. In this particular game you have the option to practice, play a career or if you are in hurry, then go to the quick game. You play on the hard courts of France, and you will find it quite different from the usual grass courts that you probably have experience in. The environment is quite beautiful, the sounds of the crowd with every set you win or lose is kinda something to really add to this game’s main features and you will find yourself sucked into that as you play it a few times. The rackets are quite spectacular and is much more detailed than you would expect in a mobile or pda game. The level of details that have been mainly emphasized in this game really is what makes it stand out from other tennis games that you have available in the market.

The magic racket to say the least seems to draw in the attention when you are going to hit one of the high speed aces towards your opponent, much like the matrix lol. Anyway, I am positive that everyone will like this game and the wireless experience of Porte d’Auteuil, France will be quite a postive shocker. You also have the option to save your game in midway and resume it later when you have time to play which some of the other present tennis games lack. The controls are quite easy, however it’s not unrealistic. You can manually decide the force with which you want to return the ball, and the more you play, the more you master it. In the beginning its quite natural that all your rebounds will be out of place and all over the park. So, don’t lose hope!

Anyway, what this game lacks is the multiplayer functionality. However, I am quite hopeful that the future versions will have much needed multi player support! But till that one comes out, enjoy this one! Aye!
