Infinite Dreams K-Rally features 3D graphics and your car are stacked up with loads of weaponeries including guns and rockets. The roads are boobie traps all the way with mines underneath them here and there and everywhere else. There are good signs throughout the races by which you can actually differentiate the good track against the bad ones but most of the times when you actually notice them it is usually too late. The overall view is quite intelligent as you see your cars and your opponent’s car top down like the way you see in Fifa 2008’s top tower or stadium cam. Just like in Skyforce Reloaded the trail of the fire of destruction that you leave behind is quite a view that you get to enjoy. K-Rally features astounding 3D graphics that are rarely found in the Nokia smartphones based 3rd edition games or even on the N-Gage platform. To progress to the next levels you have to win the races and win them in style so that you get the maximum amount of prize money and get the chance to spend them accordingly. You have a choice of overall 10 different cars and 14 individual characters, loads of weapons, different type of shops where you can buy upgrades for your cars or ammunition. One more exciting features is the random racing track generators which creates fresh new tracks everytime, thus keeping you guessing the next turn during a race.

You can race in a championship race or drive yourself to the top in a career mode, a quick race and another ghost mode or a beat the best time mode. All the 3D elements are interactive and completely animated, there are shadows behind every single car and this game also offers HD (high definition) type graphics for particles which we experienced in games like Asphalt Elite Racing or Asphalt Street Rules. The sound effects are really good and very detailed and you can actually hear the sounds of a car rolling by after a crash clearly. With 3 kinds of difficulty levels you can be pretty sure that this game is for both experienced games, newbies and for those who wants to be on top in terms of points earned online. All in all this game is worth every single moment of playing and engagibility, so if you have not played it still, you really should right now!!

Mobile Burnout for Nokia is one of the most underrated racing game of this year. After playing this game I must admit I was really impressed with its overall graphics and racing quality. The tracks are really good and tricky and the cars move very smoothly when you turn the wheels or bump your car against your opponents one. The speed of this game and the cars is the biggest plus point of the game. The explosions of the cars are quite frankly one of the very best that I have ever witnessed and experienced on the smartphones screen specially on a Nokia N95 or N73. Yes you do not have the weapons and stuff like that but in Burnout, your car is your biggest weapon. Points are earned when you properly smash your opponents car of perform a double smashing move by wrecking two or three cars with one single hit. The skid marks are the pointers that will help you decide in split seconds which way to turn your car to earn the maximum points. Just like in Juiced 2 or Ferrari World Championship, lousy crashes will earn you lousy points and will probably make your car slow down in terms of speed. Most of your opponents are hard to knock down, specially with traffic all around you which are not only bigger in size but also very annoying. There are in total of 21 races where you can race your opponents and they are all very different when compared with each other. Not all kinds of tracks are available either and the game is quite short in nature with only 3 tracks to race in but they are quite big in size and will take a hell lot of time to finish. Some tracks are kinda easy though but it all depends how good you are at racing games and how quickly you learn this game’s tricks. Colliding with opponent cars are really quite a experience in this one and they are really what makes this game great. It’s not the same ol “turn left you die” kinda game but rather the actual crash depends on how and at what speeds you bump the car behind or in front of you.

Nokia phones are all different right, but this game will present you great graphics in nearly all of them. The audio effects are not as great as Need for Speed Carbon or K-Rally but nonetheless they are of a good standard. The flames of the explosions are beautiful and quite impressive to see in mobile phones. All in all, this game can be easily rated at 6.5 over a scale of 10. Nearly all phones are supported including Nokia N70, 6300, 6120, 6680, 8800 Luna, Arte and even 5300 or 5200 Xpress Music.

I am one of them guys who loves comics like hell and this game is based on that kind of environment completely. The stories, crimes and puzzles are hilarious to say the least but at the same time they are quite enjoyable to solve and does not bore you for even a single second. If you have played games like Secret of Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion or the Grim Fandango then you are going to love this one for sure. Since this is a completely 2D based mobile game the gameplay has to be the main punch-factor and it is. It features two leading private detectives or investigators namely Dirk Dagger and Harry Cannon. The most interesting part of the gameplay is the moving camera option to turn left or right within the game. For example, if you want to move to the left in the game then you simply point your camera to the left and you will see that the entire screen of the game moving to the left side revealing the entities around you. The objects you can touch are highlighted nicely and you can move them around at will. Not all the objects are highlighted with the same importance but remember that this is a puzzle based detective game and every clue is vital so do not overlook anything at any point of time.You cannot store objects in your inventory which is quite logical because most objects are huge and will ruin the “ironic reality” of this game. There are funny quotes that pops up every now and then to give you the sense of direction and you should use them to your advantage. One backdrop of this particular symbian game is that though the dialogues or subtitles are funny but as you progress into the higher levels they sometimes can become a bit repetitive, but really it does not matter because of the exciting creativity of this game. It’s like you are reading an interactive smartphones comic book when you are playing this game.

There are a couple of mini arcade style games that are built in within the episodes which was a wise thing to do as well because when you play them it suddenly takes a whole different turn from adventure style to arcade. This is a 1950s style game for which 2D seems to be the right choice. There are videos or scenes that will unfold themselves as you finish each episode or solve a puzzle, much like a PlayStation or XBox based games. The more you move with your phone the more Dirk Dagger (or Dirk Spanner) moves within the game and though it consumes battery like a monster, in my honest opinion, it is worth it. To keep things feeling like 1950s the overall sound and color tones of the game are designed like that. The audio effects specially are quite classic and soothing to the ears when you play it alone. Since this is a N-Gage based game you will always wonder how it lives up if you use the TV-Out functionality and port the main screen on the TV. Let me tell you it looks splendid on the TV screen so if you are using a Nokia N82, Nokia N95 or N95 8GB, N96, N81 8gb etc then make sure that you experience this game on the television! The bluetooth functionality is quite smooth as well mainly because of the simple navigation system of this game.

All in all this game is quite enjoyable no matter what kind of games you like because it is fun, crispy and full of mysteries and player interactivity. The 3rd edition, next generation based gameplay rocks and the 2D screen is really quite the creatively right decision that it is to be used in such a game. Anyway, back to the topic and New York Nights 2 Friends for Life for Nokia is a dream game for those of you who liked SIM City Nightlife or Playboy Mansion. Obviously this is kinda a fun dating game as well which you will love to experience if you liked its kick ass first versions like the New York Nights Success in the City, which was actually built and followed up around the streets and bars of Las Vegas and Miami. This time around your Your mission is quite up to what you decide it to be. You can either be a typical flirter and look for the floaty love for one night stands only or you can choose to find your one and only, your true love lol in the Big Apple. Anyway, you will have the typical “Ross-Chandler-Joey” Central Park shared type apartments and you will have to choose among several types of house mates who will not only be good friends but also helpful when you try to build your social network for you.

You can choose different hairstyles and color and which role you want to play I am not really a one night stand guy (..or am I?) but this game really made me experience the fun through my Nokia N-Series smartphones. Do cinematic stunts like jumping from a roof to convince the girl you wanna get in the bed (…literally too lmao!) or buy expensive gifts with hard earned money and even ending up getting slapped by your girlfriend or girlfriends. You can also impress your girlfriends easily or at least get a head start if you take kung fu lessons soon after you start earning. You have manage everything from talking the right way, eating the right thing at the right time, watch TV at times or attend the bar in the Saturday or Friday or Thursday nights! The dialogs are simply fun fun fun and hilarious at most of the times!!!!!

This game can also be considered as a phenomenal pass time companion which you can resume, pause, resume and pause again according to how free you are or how much leisure you enjoy get everyday. The game story is quite fun to play and does not dry off once you pause it to do your actual work and studies.

New York Nights Friends for Life is a well designed witty and interactive game all around. The overall graphics is quite fun to watch and play, the quality of the audio is really not bad and the overall theme is quite jolly. In the end you have to decide if you want to choose friends or your love, sounds quite ‘filmy’ but I honestly admit it that if you want to experience the way you always wanted to live life, the free and I don’t care at all way then New York Nights really can’t be matched or compared to any other games available. It’s that good!

You have the choice to play quick symbian football games or in a career based mode where you have to choose a club and play in the league games, win the league games and it’s not over because simultaneously you have to be getting your club qualified for the UEFA international club championships. Not only that, this game of mobile football brings much more than any other versions released so far. It has injuries, night play mode with floodlights, the yellow cards and even the red cards. If you start your run too early you are risking to get your on the offside and be pulled back by the dreaded whistle of the referee. As you play on the career mode and win games, your overall points improve and so does your overall stats. The more you win the more your fatigue gets you and the slower the player becomes when taking a long sprint. You have to learn the art of balancing between everything that you have, if you overwork your players then you will suffer in the next game with the same players because maybe only after the first half of the game they will give up on you.

The best strategy in the career mode according to me is to pick up some young players either via club transfers or scouting. Both have their merits and demerits. In club transfers the players are usually more rich in terms of gameplay and stats but they do not come cheap for the transfer. Most of them are actually already playing the most prestigious clubs including Manchester United, AC Milan, Barcelona, Bayern Munich etc and wouldn’t want to switch in the first place. However if you have enough cash and do manage to buy a young superstar like Rooney or Messi or even Torres, then you have flexibility to make them your front line force from the get go. If you acquire young players through scouting then you have the freedom of buying them cheap, most players are good as a long term investment but almost none of them can be your front line players from the next match. Just use the transfer season wisely, that sure is all!

In this mobile game of Football 08 (or soccer for some of you) you can configure your keys accordingly with your phone. Most widescreen phone needs to do that bit of customizing because, by default, the game is designed for vertical screen phones of Nokia. Only possible to play on the 3rd edition symbian phones, this game is sure worth the wait. The atmospheric sound effects are quite exclusive and I must admit that I haven’t heard this much details and clarity in any symbian games. If you are on a N-Gage or something of a pda styled symbian phone, then this game is a dream come true mainly because of the extremely detailed, excellent and entertaining graphics. Of course all other Nokia symbian cell phones and handsets can play that mode but I personally think the full package is the best for high end gaming devices of Nokia. The graphics and overall gameplay is quite detailed for a smartphones based game and is surely something to watch out. The best part of the game is the gameplay and the overall experience and if you haven’t played it yet, you are missing out a lot!

Anyway, back to the topic and after watching the movie I couldn’t wait to play the movie based game of Batman, The Dark Knight mobile game which was released earlier. This Nokia game is quite fun in one word but I really would love it better if I could be the Joker in the game cause I really would love to squash Batman under my clown-ish shoes. Lol. It only allows you play as Batman himself and you have to get out of the sticky situations by fighting your way out by using the senses that you have developed. The overall fiery, cartoon like graphics really suits the game well and makes it even more fun. Everytime you perform a heavy punch either a “Splat!!” or “Thud” or “Smash” pops up which I really liked about this themed mobile game. The game have that old comic thing going on pretty well I must say but the overall storyline is almost the same as movies. The navigational controls are quite easy and none of the Nokia 3rd edition or 2nd edition phones of almost all screen resolutions will have no problem whatsoever playing it. There is also a constant “life left” bar that shows up on all your enemies and it helps you assess your moves better in situations when you have multiple punks surrounding you and trying to make a show out of it. You get to fight behind the glass panes where the famous poster was shot and you also get to fight the enemies on the roof tops, behind walls and in places exactly like in the motion picture. You can use your gadgets, go in stealth mode or simply punch your way to the Joker to finish the game.

This game is compatible with all the symbian based S40 and S60 smartphones of E-Series and N-Series Nokia like I mentioned earlier. The Age of Empires puts you in charge of famous battles that took place for real and changed the course of history, making themselves the most important chapters of our history. Whether you are visiting my portfolio blog from the United States, Scotland, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, or Bangladesh the Age of Empires will have something for everyone. This mobile game focuses on your thinking and strategic decision making ability in situations which is almost in dire straits. In most cases our heroes never have had the opportunity to have their food served to them in a golden dish with grapes or strawberry shakes around as refreshments and in this game you will have to walk in their shoes and make sure that you keep the history intact through your Nokia keys and screen. It’s all about the honor, pride and your personal will to succeed which will decide who is standing when the dust settles. Make no mistake that you will need enough knowledge about when to attack and how to attack, counter attack or defend in a possible booby trapped situation. Those who liked Commandos or any strategy based symbian game will absolutely love the Age of Empires.

The story line of this game is really superb and counts for half the marks of the game overall. The graphics overall is not the best or super high definition but then again they are not bad at all and more than enough details are their for your support and enjoyment. There is the classic information menu as well and overall I am not going to complain on the graphics part. In the S60 Age of Empires game you will get to choose which part of history you want to belong, who you want to be and which battles you always wanted to be in during your childhood or even now. You will be the famous ‘Knights of St. John’ and you have to build a new colony yourself with the help of your citizens and ultimately defend the entire Western Europe. After that you will have to make your presence felt by building an empire under your rule. The game is of course a remake of the PC and PS II/III based game the Age of Empires which I am quite sure you have played at least once or heard about it cause it sure made a hell of a success in the market. Don’t expect extreme similarities in terms of gameplay but for a mobile game, this one is packed with features and modes which is quite similar to the original Age of Empires. You can fight directly in battles after unlocking them one by one or choose to play from the beginning where you move on to different levels of difficulty when the odds stack up on you. I personally am not a huge fan of strategy based games to tell you the truth and am more of a FIFA game fan but I do like the Age of Empires mainly because when I play it I really have to use my brains.

You have more than 15 different stages to conquer, with different strategy dedicated to battles and resource managements. If you win battles then you will rewarded with points with which you can buy more resource for your colony or will be able to build different buildings, almost eight in total. You also have a handy pause menu along with an information pop up menu throughout the game which comes to be really handy after a few days of constant Age of Empires addiction. You also have a mini-map to help you guide and navigate easier. The overall sound effects are not bad and you might miss the 3D surround sound a lot but once again the story line really makes up for that. The situations you have to face to finish the game makes you realize how difficult it really is to win a war or to lose it. You can control your moves or decisions via the navigational joystick or at your wish as you can customize it which is a plus for this one. I don’t know if you will miss the heavy machine guns or 0.9mm automatic guns in this one, I know I didn’t. However for me, I rate it 4 out of 5 because I am really not a fan of strategy games.

Honestly speaking this game really depends on your likings about mobile or PDA games. It can really be a dream come true if you are a fan of Age of Empires years back and it can be a ’so-so’ game if you don’t like that. Whether you want to use your N-Series or E-Series 3rd edition symbian cell phones to play games like Super Mario, SIM City or the Age of Empires is absolutely up to you. N-Gage really have opened us a huge range of games, let it be the Lament Islands or Knights of the Dark Age. But this time around Ngage will make you virtually as good as Colin Montgomerie or Sergia Garcia if not any better after finishing this staggering, huge and phenomenal game. In the game of golf you have two kinds of enemies: one your competitors and two, the environment. Since your surroundings does play a huge role in the overall game it is very important that the graphics are equally good compared to the overall 18 holes course. You have elements like a shallow pond or a sudden dump which you have to watch out beside the trees when taking the tee shot from the wooden/plastic peg for the very first hole. If you are superduper lucky and your overall techniques are really good then you might earn yourself an Albatross and go on winning the entire game before your competitors does and if you by chance hit the trees or make the ball land in the water then you can be pretty sure that at best you will finish at par or usually you will earn yourself a double bogey! If your ball lands on the rough instead of the fairway then you will again finish at double bogey usually, unless you score an eagle to make up the mistake.

However, make no mistake about it that this particular game is really one hell of graphics focused game and as a result of which you will be able to play real good if you concentrate. This is a multiplayer game with a possible online access feature if you want to play against the very best in the n-gage arena. Points are saved on the go and rankings fluctuate a little cause after all it is an addictive game which all of you will want to be a master in. One thing this game lacks is the bluetooth functionality which really sucks in my honest opinion, but even playing it in single player mode and against the smartphones will be tons of fun!! The 3D sounds will simply blow your minds away and the overall rivalry is quite interesting along with the courses.

Anyway, I am way too off topic at the moment as I seem to get lost in a dream when I think of Porche. Back to the game and I must say that this high definition (HD) game is a follow up of the Asphalt Series consisting of Urban GT, Street Rules etc. Like the previous one, this game is also astoundingly similar in terms of high quality sound effects! Except the cars maybe, and the overall graphics of this mobile game which seem to have improved a wee-lil-bit when you press the Nitrous Di Oxide or NOS button for full thrust, this symbian game is enjoyable! Love the blurry part more than anything else in this game. The tracks are new and there is a lotta snow around so you can be pretty sure that controlling the cars will be a huge challenge. And unlike the last episode, this game is mainly designed on a “Are you better than me when turning in the corners?” gameplay. Beside the Porche 911, you also get the chance to drive a Lamborghini Diablo, A Ferrari and some other luxurious brands which brings me to my next point, speed!

The speed of the cars are simply phenomenal and it seems that the overall design of this game engine deserves a 5 upon 5. The acceleration of the cars are pretty wild, of course it varies from cars to cars, but the difference is minimal compared to the overall speed. In terms of overall handling on the dry scorching roads of Arizona, it is great and quite easy. The game actually picks up its gears when you step up on the elite zone and race over the snow. Slide baby Slide!! I loved the overall experience driving on the snowy roads as it was pretty difficult to race on, avoid the cops, their bloody helicopters and control the cars at speeds over 350 KM/H or roughly 250 M/H. Like the previous version of the game, the more you gain speed or bump against incoming traffic, the more “wanted” you are in the radar of the law and the more difficult plus aggressive the feds and cops become. So do watch out the corners and try not to bump too much as I can assure ya that if the feds are after your car then you have no bloody chance of escaping, so forget about winning the race! The story of the game is quite boring compared to Street Rules and I am disappointed in this part.

You can free ride, joy ride and race! You can ride a motorbike (…a racing and good looking Yamaha of course) to evade faster or to get yourself in cold zone during a chase. This have serious impact on the overall game however as you might get bored and never complete the tracks ever which will be a real waste of a good game. In terms of compatibility, this game should run on all 3rd edition Nokia S60 N-Series, E-Series, Symbian OS 9.1 and 9.2 devices. Handsets suchs as the N-Series N76, N73, N81, N82, N80, N71, N77, N91, N92, N95, the hot new Nokia N78 and N96 should work smoothly. E-Series smartphones or pda like E50, E51, E71, E60, E61, E65, E62, E66, E70, E90 is also compatible. The other handhelds like the Nokia 6120, 6110, 6121, 3250, 5700, 5500, 5610 Xpress Music, 5710, 6600 Slide, Arte & 7500, 7900 Prism are also in the long list of supported phones. Major network carriers, both GSM and CDMA based ones like AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile, Hutch, Virgin Mobile UK, Vodafone, Vodacom, Telenor, Orange Mobile UK, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Digi Malaysia, Orascom etc should have no problem with it regardless of it being a Java based game.

Mau Mau is obviously a game known to all of us who love to play cards and roll the dice on the casinos. or for those who just enjoys playing for a little bit of “time passing” at home when they have nothing good to watch, or even those to whom life is located behind the ace of spades. Your objective would be to lose the cards the fastest, the faster your cards are over from your pile the sooner you win, SIMPLE!

This game can be played with up to four players but you can also choose to play with two players. This classic game also have a classic feature built in which is sound funny sound and hilarious graphics! I mean its not a high definition game at well, but the characters of the game (your opponents) are something to see! I mean they are all whack and every time you win a round, they make this funny, gloomy face which is just way too funny! All in all, this game is a real treat for a specific group of people and if you are into cards, then you are surely in!
