Eilloo everyone! One of the best part of Nokia smartphones is the fact that a variety of games are available for it. If you would like to buy fast cars and have a hobby of driving one, then you can play Juiced 2 or Need for Speed Carbon 3D, if you like simulation based games then you can try Sim City Societies or if you are into poker or cards, then Mau Mau. This brings me to today’s post, this post!

Mau Mau is obviously a game known to all of us who love to play cards and roll the dice on the casinos. or for those who just enjoys playing for a little bit of “time passing” at home when they have nothing good to watch, or even those to whom life is located behind the ace of spades. I personally am not a hardcore card player however many of my friends are. Anyway, if you like to play cards then you will love this game! If you want to understand how to play cards and want to earn some respect among other players then you might also want to grab this game. Mau Mau offers one of the most comprehensive explanations of the rules which really makes this game even more enjoyable! Your cards will be located at the handset screen’s very bottom which leaves a nice space to enjoy the view so to speak. The game does have a super easy interface, and offers a lot of points. You definitely earn points everytime a round of playing is over and you win after a predetermined set of rounds have been finished playing with. Your objective would be to lose the cards the fastest, the faster your cards are over from your pile the sooner you win, SIMPLE!

This game can be played with up to four players but you can also choose to play with two players. This classic game also have a classic feature built in which is sound funny sound and hilarious graphics! I mean its not a high definition game at well, but the characters of the game (your opponents) are something to see! I mean they are all whack and every time you win a round, they make this funny, gloomy face which is just way too funny! All in all, this game is a real treat for a specific group of people and if you are into cards, then you are surely in!

Ahoy everyone! Crash Bandicoot Kart 3D is one of the most successful game ever to be released for the PSP and Nintendo Gameboy console. Later it did hit Playstation 2 and Playstation 3, where it single handedly outperformed the total sale of both the PSP and Nintendo together! Later that same year they made it clear that they want the market for the PDA and palmtops by releasing it for Windows Mobile 4 and Windows Mobile 5. Now, we all that it was the end and we will never get to play it in our Nokia. But when the iPhone was introduced for the first time by the guys of Apple, the Bandicoot had to come out of the TV screen, the windows platform and hit the iPhone interface immediately. The only thing that was left after that was for this blast of a game to be released for the symbian and java platform of Nokia, LG, Samsung and SonyEricsson etc. When all hope was lost, it happened finally and Crash Nitro Kart 2 was introduced for the very first time!! The game of course was an instant hit in the Nokia cell phones market and why shouldn’t it be, its one hell of a good game! And now, after several months of development, its my utmost pleasure to present you Crash Bandicoot Kart 3D for Nokia mobiles and smartphones! Yeehaw!

Storyline:

Well, in this episode all hell have broken loose! Dr. Cortex and the ever so villainous Nitrous Oxide has made a pact to beat the ever so exciting and speedy heroes of this game, the Bandicoots! They are planning once again for complete world domination by beating the Bandicoots and it specially seems almost certain when the closest companion of Doc Cortex, Mr Ripper Roo joins the already invincible duo. How will they defeat the Bandicoots? The Evil Macho Man provides the Bandicoots with an offer they cannot refuse (mafia ishtyle baby!), in a stage Kart Tournament of course!

The winner obviously will receive the everlasting title and recognition as the Kings of Kart Racing and the loser will have to leave the island or forcefully exiled out of the N.Sanity island.

As the Bandicoots, you have to make sure that you do not lose your home obviously and you also have to make sure that the world does not get consumed in the grip of the Vortex, err… I mean Dr. Cortex!

Gameplay:

Awesome! That’s all I can say peeps! You can slide and glide and freak and skid all the way to the finish line. You have to maneuver your way through the falling meteors, make your way over the oceans and crash & burn against the heat of the sun on the drying desert of Egypt! You crash and burn almost everywhere else though lol.

Features:

The graphics are quite good, not the best out there but these kind of games actually gets wasted/slow with too much memory consuming processes. High Definition or HD game, it might not be but nonetheless it is almost Nokia N-Gage quality. The graphics are however not anything less than the standard and the screenshots prove that.

The speed of the game is really fast and furious. There are bonuses everywhere and the more you take them the better or more speedier you become. However taking all the opportunities is never easy and everyone knows that. The tracks are beautifully designed and there are turns and unpredictability every where you go. The tracks of this game are quite long and there are altogether 12 long tracks that you have to finish to win the tournament. The weapons are all funny lol! and you will have an awesome time shooting them out, it really suits the game perfectly. Last but not the least, the controllers can be configured according to your need and that makes this game even more enjoyable.

Ahoy all you symbianholics! Having a bash this weekend? I do hope so and if, in case you are not having a fantastic time then I think this real time multiplayer Ngage based game will make you go Yeehaw! Today I bring you System Rush Evolution, an n-gage 2.0 platform based shooting game. This game is not using the 3D hardware acceleration or chip but nonetheless the graphics and gameplay is quite good. Just like all other n-gage based symbian games out there, the navigation menu and mobile ‘control gamepad’ should be quite well adapted to everyone in general, very much visually dazzling and easy to play or should I say fly.

We have the general story mode gameplay and the default n-gage arena option for internet based multiplay. You can actually multiplay via wifi and bluetooth as well if your mobile devices supports them. There are three types of gametypes in total within the game. In the first one you have to actually time trial type of race and you also have to survive your way through all the enemies and their heavy firing. WIth a little practice you can achieve that and move onto the next level where you have to shoot and kill (the real fun part of the game!) any enemies that you will come across! When you have achieved that mission you will have to escape your way through the enemy territory before you get whacked! The levels are all very detailed and fast, one wrong step and you have to start up again. The firing part of the game is real fast and since you can actually maneuvar quite easily, it really becomes much fun to escape or dodge the heavy fires! In multiplayer option of the game, you can choose to race head to head as well and make your opponents entire control act reverse with your special tactics and power ups.

The game focuses on easy navigation so that multiplaying experience can be enjoyed to the fullest and you can control almost everything with the D pad of the phone. Quality depends entirely on your internet capacity of the smartphone. 3G phones should perform better than GPRS based phones. The overall sound quality and environmental effects are quite well adapted to the game as well. This smartphone based console game is actually one of those which suits the TV Out functionality of your Nokia N95 almost perfectly as the overall graphics is quite good, the difficulty is perfect and the sound effects are satifactory. You will love it when playing the single player or multiplayer mode, so there is no reason for you to try it out from here. Splinter Cell Double Agent for all types of Nokia S60, S40 and J2ME based handhelds and smartphones! Guess who’s back in this episode? Oh yeah you guessed it right, he is the veteran elite stealth maestro Sam Fisher! This time around he will face one of the most advaced terrorist groups who’s trying to destroy the United States and other major countries of the world and bring complete doom to the world once and for all. In Splinter Cell Double Agent, Sam Fisher’s mission is to infiltrate the organization from within their base, using his artful moves and breathtaking tactics to the extreme. And for the very first time you will yourself experience how it is to be a double agent and walking the thin line between life and death.

This is a complete strategy based tactical game and using your offensive skills only to kill terrorist won’t really help. To achieve success you must use your intelligence, wits and offensive skills. You just cannot go ahead and kill all the terrorists that reside in the organization one by one because when they realize it and most of their team mates are gone for good, you will be hunt down and most possibly killed instantly. Or, worse even, the missiles will be launched against the billions of innocent people of the world. You have to choose whom to kill, how many to kill so that they do not notice and most importantly how to kill when you do kill. Double Agent brings the use of advanced and most thrilling strategies that you probably experienced in the very first episode. But this game is really one of its kind because the graphics are to die for and so are the overall gameplay. Patience my friend, is a virtue after all! You are a whole new Sam Fisher in this one and you gotta say, I love it!

The gameplay is also a time trial to make things more difficult and interesting! You can’t wait for too long to get the terrorist in position and again you can’t go ahead, step in front and use your knife in light. Like I said, use your head! You have to have a good balance in everything you do, all the actions you ought to take and always remember that time is of the essence and you have to be alive when that time limit is over, cause doing all those won’t matter if millions are killed cause you wanted to be safe or if you are dead and they all are alive, know what I mean? This game is really quite a blast and you will have a very good time playing it, trust me on this one.

Greetings everyone! Today I am going to present you with one of the most famous and well known games for mobile devices. As the name suggests, it’s called Asphalt 3 Street Rules! I am sure many of you have heard of it and played the earlier versions as well. For those who didn’t here is an introduction. Asphalt 3 Street Rules is a racing game unlike any other. High end graphics, fast cars and tougher opponents make this game one of the most well known game in the industry. You have the option to customize your ride, let it be a high end Audi TT, Lamborghini Diablo or even a bike! There are in total 8 real life tracks from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and more. Your target is to be the best of the best in the illegal underground racing world. For that to achieve, (…just like in the Fast & Furious 2!) you have to beat down opponents who are riding in slicker cars and you also have to stay away from the cops and their helicopters! Within all these you even have the option to custom build your car completely. Change its light with Neon beams, install a carbon fibre body kit or even change the sparco seats! The more you win races and points the more you are respected in the racing circle and the more other opponents hate you. You gotta race your way through the most infamous neighborhood of the cities without getting too much attention from the police. Of course you also have the option to free ride the neighborhood so that you know what comes when you turn a hard left and so on. Remember, respect and money are earned through drifts and pileups.

One thing you do at first when you get some fair amount of cash is to tame the beast inside your ride, aka the fuming engine. Though it will cost you a fortune but you will be better off if you change it at first go without any fuss. That way your RPM increases significantly and you will be ahead for the first few seconds after a quick brake when the cops are bumping your back! I made a mistake of pimping the looks of the car and paid the price by being arrested in the game, not cool! Also, when going head to head with your opponent always try your best to push the opponent car on your right side from the sides rather than head on, that way they are easily pushed away from the race by getting off the street and you will start to win races almost as if you are way “off the hook”. The TV helicopters will follow you in every step once the police is on your tail and to get rid of them you should use the Nitrous, or simply try your best to get in the backyards of a major street. The trees and tall buildings will make the helicopter lose you and the cops will have a difficult time finding you. The controls of the game is really superb and the way the overall car moves is even better, in smartphones its quite unthinkable to have this much fun with racing games. The more you make the police bite the dust the more your rating as a racer will increase, however the more difficult it becomes to get away from police chases! But don’t be afraid to take risks, the game is all about risking it! Anyway, this HD or high definition game is compatible with all the major platforms but I am only giving you the 3rd edition versions in my blog.
