Silent Hill | Mobile Phones
When you are talking about atmospheric games or even movies, Silent Hill stays at the top of the chart without a shadow of a doubt. This creepy, spine tingling story not only inspired a Hollywood based movie from the game but now it has come to haunt you from the screens of your mobile phones. Yes, the monsters of Silent Hill are back and this time around they are back with a deadly vengeance on your Nokia S60 mobile phones and smartphones.
Silent Hill Mobile for Nokia phones takes place in the quiet and ever mysteriously creepy orphanage of Silent Hill of course and by no means is this really an action mobile game. This is a mobile game based more on your intuition, this is a mobile game that you will probably enjoy playing alone in the night. The overall beautifully horrific sound effects of Silent Hill Mobile brings back adventure gaming where it belongs, to the core! What lies behind every single corridor or when you make a left turn is really something that you will always ponder about before making a move. If you have a audio jack port on your S60 based symbian mobile phones then I will honestly advice you to switch off the outside world and put on your best pair of headphones, turn on the game and dim the light of your room…. then play it!!
It will make the gaming experience far more enjoyable compared to you playing it on the go on a bus trip or something similar during the daytime. There are faceless zombies, gruesome monsters and strange sounding psycho killers everywhere and whether you like it or not, they are all there to get you when you lock the door to the orphanage and start to explore into the rooms. The coolest part of Silent Hill Mobile is that in this game you just will not have to kill zombies, rather you have to trick them to finish up properly. Also, flesh and blood are the basic elements of this mobile game so if you are weak at the stomach or do not have a sharp attention to details then I will honestly advice you to keep away from this game. However, if you like raw horror games and you are in love with the grotesque kind of lifestyle then this game will treat you like Marilyn Manson treats a proper goth on the Antichrist Superstar!
If you have played the actual desktop based game of Silent Hill then you know by now that the best part of that phenomenal game was it’s atmospheric elements and that is what have been nicely ported to this mobile game as well, so you will NOT be disappointed at all. This is a first person game and you have to look out for the direction on the maps and compasses on your gaming phone’s screen, so when you find them make sure you use them to your advantage. Since you have three characters to choose from in this horror mobile game, there are ugly dirty secrets almost behind every single door. You will start to play this game as the grown up, and alienated kid BEN who have no clue why or where he is. You have to discover every single reason as to why all the kids in this beautiful orphanage were killed one by one and also have to make sure that when doing that you are not consumed by the evil forces in the process.
Silent Hill for mobile phones really have done an excellent job of bringing the first ever, truly horror based adventure game. Yes there are games like Resident Evil but the entire Resident Evil series (which I already published in the past) is more of a shooting game rather than an action-adventure-puzzle based mobile game like Silent Hill for Mobile truly is. Filled with eerie yet beautiful sound effects in every episode and highly detailed graphics makes this game well worth the time for anyone!
All in all, if you are a fan of horror based games on your desktop or laptop or even the Nintendo X box or Sony PlayStation 3 then Silent Hill for Mobile is the game of your beautiful nightmares and you will absolutely love it! Once again this game is not for the weak of heart and is for the serious gamer fans of Nokia based smartphones.
