Nokia Maps 2 | Symbian Application Download

Showing you the way wherever you are, that’s what Nokia Maps offer you for your symbian 3rd edition smartphones. What I am bringing you today is something I know that a lotta of you folks have been wishing for so here it is, finally! So what is Nokia Maps? Well Nokia maps is Nokia’s official and finest GPS based, voice guided application developed mainly for the S40 and S60 N-Series and E-Series devices. It was previously in the beta stage and was secretly developed by the Research and Development division of Nokia before it was finally made public after it was confirmed to be stable.

More than 200 different countries and all their navigational details are supported and are also available to be downloaded straight for the Nokia official site. With a voice based guidance you can actually preplan your destination, find way points, restaurants and any special places on the go. You can save the data on the memory card for viewing later by the Nokia Maps Loader. This has its good uses as it will seriously reduce internet charges if you do the navigation from a WLAN based connection. You can easily tag any location for finding it easily in the future. As a driver you will have your very own navigational companion with Nokia Maps 2 as this one can instruct turn by turn of what’s next in the road. You can set the time interval, the voice clarity etc. Finding ATM machines to withdraw cash or to pay your credit card bills will never be the same with Nokia Maps 2 installed as it easily detects all the available ATM machines around your house and tell you exactly the easiest route to take!

There is also a built in search box which lets you search any place, tags etc on the go and its really easy to use it overall. The mapping itself is really pretty slick and simple, with almost all types of view available including a satellite view, a hybrid view, a 2D view and a 3D view. It also have a drive and walk navigation feature, loads of downloadable multimedia city guides which really will be very much useful for tourism purposes, and lots of other innovative and everyday features. Also if you have location tagging enabled then you can share pictures/images on Google earth and Flickr! And if you are a blogger like me, then hubba hubba… Nokia Maps 2 is just what you need!

This amazing GPS application is for you to download free once you have grabbed my RSS feed for free. This application comes built in with Nokia N95 8gb as much as I know but all other 3rd edition application which lacks this built in application can install and use it to their advantage. Minimalistic Art | Nokia Themes

Minimalism, the kind of beauty not everyone is really fond of, but me, I love minimalism! According to me, the basic and the most simple things of life sometimes does look so beautiful and with that in mind I designed this particular theme which I call Minimalistic Art. I mainly designed this theme for 3rd edition devices and handsets, however later on I realized that there are quite a few of my friends who visit here often and is on the 2nd edition smartphones. So I simply had to redo it for the 2nd edition feature pack 1, 2 and 3.

The theme is mainly based on a red gradient as you can see and the eagle in between the screen of your cell phones is inspired from the well known clothing brand, American Eagle. If you look at it closely you will see the irony of this theme, “This isn’t minimalistic art“, funny eh? I am not really feeling a 100% lately to be honest mainly because I have been terribly busy with work almost everyday and attending parties after that. I am not whining, but I am just so goddamn tired! This theme is a product of the period when I was kinda pissed at someone and was just trying to calm down by designing. I know its been quite a while since the last time I released any mobile theme for Nokia symbian phones, but trust me friends, I really am trying to design and update the portfolio/blog every single minute I am free. Anyway, I do like bright symbian themes and this one surely is bright, right Fred? I really hope you like it cause I really tried hard this time! However, if you don’t then do let me know what kind of themes you would prefer to see here in Nokia symbian themes.

This theme is a Scalable Vector Graphics (or SVG) based theme so it should work well with almost any phones, having any resolutions as long as the OS is Symbian. That means almost all S60 mobile phones or pda should be compatible with this one! Smartphones like N-Series and E-Series Nokia N71, N81, N91, N92, N93, N96, N95 8gb, 6120, 6290, 6600 Slide, Arte, Prism, 7360, 7210, Nokia N90, N78, N82, N80, N70 Music Edition, Xpress Music phones like 5700/5710 and 5500 and 5300/5310 5200/5210, N72, N73, N76, E50, N75, 3230, 3250, 6680, 6681, E60, E61, E62, E65, E70, E66, E71, E90 etc should all work! I do hope I haven’t missed anything in that huge list, if I did then feel free to add it as a comment. If you have any confusion regarding which phone is which version then please do check out the section of Phones OS on my blog. This phone is also network carrier independent as I have symbian signed it myself with a certificate and you should not see an expiry message anytime soon. In case you do then please check out the section of Symbian Signing or easier yet my mobiles tutorial section which contains an easy toggle date trick. All Nokia phones of AT&T, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Vodacom, Virgin Mobile, Orange Mobile, Cingular, Sprint Wireless, DiGi, Hutch, Verizon Wireless, Telenor etc should work smoothly with this one installed.

Please do subscribe to my RSS feed if you want to support me or show your appreciation. Subscription is free and it keeps you updated with all my latest release of free cell phone games, applications and themes!

Always remember to use the search funtion of my blog if you experience any kind of difficulty finding any games or applications or themes. Cheerios & Godspeed!

Vampent Vbag X | Nokia Smartphones Application

Vampent Vbag X, the latest version is one of the best emulator ever to be introduced in the smartphones market of Game Boy Advanced for mobile handsets and devices, and now it is here at Nokia Symbian Themes for you to enjoy and download. With this absolutely fantastic emulator you will be able to play gameboy games in your Nokia phones at full speed, with high memory capacities and with astounding sound to support these two. To be more specific, GameBoy Advanced or V bag GBA for symbian cell phones will let you play games with up to a 32 rom drives speed. There are more than enough space and option for you to save your game, up to five separate times you can save it and rewrite it at the same time for any single game. This is quite critical as most of the games of Nintendo are quite big and with much more levels than an average symbian game.

Additionally you have the option to manipulate the skip and detect frames options, in simple words you can slow down the processing rate for any game of Vampent GBA if you feel or experience slower speeds for your specific model. Most 3rd Edition S60 Nokia NSeries and ESeries phones with a bigger internal memory will have no speed issues or even 3D graphics processing issues but phones with an earlier OS installed like the 2nd edition feature pack 1, 2 and 3 might (..yes might!) experience slower speeds. Honestly it depends on how much stuff you already have installed on the phones internal memory. You can also save and load game with up to a 128K flash memory limit, which is quite the optimum size you will want I guess.

With VBag X GBA you will also be able to set up the ‘keyboard configuration’ of your cell phone, so if you feel comfortable with shooting by pressing the 1 key or play better if you set the and steer right with 6, you will have no problem. This is really very important as most of the latest cell phones are like palmtops or PDA, with a QWERTY keyboard so the conventional joystick mode really does not make any sense. Also there are two types of output modes for two versions of MIDP, MIDP 1 and MIDP 2. Do mess with the configuration once you install it and make it work the way you want.

I have also attached the older version of the application just in case you have any difficulty with the latest one. It is quite unlikely, but still. Overall its a 4 outta 5 points application in terms of quality and efficiency which is really excellent if you think about it as most other emulators have a hard time to be a 3 out of 5 presently. Hope you install it and enjoy! Please do subscribe to my RSS feed if you like my blog and do tell your friends to visit. This symbian application is also network carrier independent and should work with all unlocked and locked version of the phones from AT&T, Virgin Mobile, Djuice, Vodafone, Orange Mobile UK, Vodacom, Telenor, Airtel, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless etc. It is also compatible with all the cell phones of Nokia S60 3rd edition like the Nokia N73, N71, N78, N91, N80, N81, N95, N95 8gb, N95-NAM, N96, N82, E50, E51, E60, 8600 Luna, 3250, 6270, 6121, 6120, E65, 6600 Slide, 6282, N92, N93, 3220, Arte, Prism, Sapphire, 5700, 5500 Sport, 6265, 6233, 7973, Xpress Music 5710, 5200, 5300, 5310, E70, E71, 5610, 6110 Navigator, E66 and E90. Cheers peeps!

Qeep | Multi player Gaming | IM | Nokia Application

So tell me something everyone, how do you Qeep? Lol. No no it sure is not a typo and actually today I am going to present you one of the finest and most feature packed application for mobile devices. For those who already have heard it all before, yes today I am featuring the social instant messenger called ‘Qeep’ (..love the name cause it sure is quite catchy!). For those who haven’t heard or used Qeep ever, well you better start using it right now or be left behind. So what exactly does Qeep offer which other similar, IM based application does not right? It is the same question I asked to myself when I heard about Qeep for the first time ever. Firstly, like many other IM based applications, Qeep is free! Like many other IM based mobile applications Qeep offers sending QMS (SMS of course lol) messages free! And like many other software, Qeep is lightweight and easy on the bills. There is a big plausible ‘but’ with Qeep though, Qeep lets you do a whole lot more than just IM-ing or stuff like that.

Qeep offers photo blogging, live chatting and the most terrific part of Qeep is “Multiplayer Gaming” on your smartphones! How much flash memory any application like this requires depends phone to phone but generally, they are all heavyweight champions and almost all of them immediately crashes when you are typing super fast like I do with the T9 dictionary on. Qeep however is super lightweight compared to all those other symbian or java based applications, Qeep consumes almost only half the memory compared to any other similar application if not any less so that’s a huge plus for any IM applications! I have been using it since last week to test it out and honestly I had doubts myself about the features and the size overall, but to my amazement, I must say that Qeep is really Qeeping me on my toes, but relaxed cause it hasn’t crashed even once. Can you imagine just how much flash memory does any other application like this consumes without even offering all these?  Since I am a blogger I really dig the fact that it offers photo blogging on the go, no other application have that feature and honestly speaking I always had to shut off my IM application before opening up Opera Mobile to post in the blog (not this blog though). But with that application I already can actually launch and browse the web at the same time with Opera, though I actually don’t need to cause I can blog through the Qeep interface but I just had to test it out myself. I usually like lightweight IMs which just serves my purpose and keeps my bill under control, so I never was a fan of resource hoggers kinda applications (not naming any though, I am sure you all can guess) and needed a Java based platform which I can actually keep open and running in the background when I am browsing the web. I also love the fact that you can send SMS on the go without actually involving your network SMS gateway. So the cost of SMS is really zero, you will be charged by your operator though for the GPRS, WAP, EDGE, 3G, UMTS HSDPA or whatever else is applicable in your case.

One of the most interesting features of Qeep is that you can actually play multiplayer games online with your friends. All the games are really simple but quite engaging to say the very least. And since you will be playing with or against your friends and foes, you can be pretty sure that it will be that damn hard to win which really makes it much more fun! I hate easy mobile games, I hate complicated but I absolutely love competitive games and almost all the games will test your skills, especially your Brain Department. You can chat and blog and play online mulitplayer mobile games and open Opera Mobile in the background and receive calls, send and receive sms all at once!! Multitasking? You bet it is with the Qeep factor lol!!! Anyway you do have to sign up for Qeep on their official website located at Qeep.net before you can actually sign in and start to make friends, registration is definitely free my friends. The community is really buzzing all the time and as much as I know they have more than 200,000 registered Qeepers (including me) who will surely be Qeeping you busy with Qeep! (Damn this word is catchy!). Within all my excitement, I now realize I have forgot to mention that with Qeep you can send “Qool Qounds” …err I meant ‘cool sounds’ lol. They are all really funny sounds, like the audio versions of the famous MSN “wink”. They will play on your friends handset if they kept the sound option activated as well.

Anyway, enough Qeeping from me for one day! May you all have an awesome time just like I am having with Qeep and do add me there as a friend if you can. This multi featured Instant Messenger will support all your N-Series or E-Series cell phones or pda, S60 or S40 or anything else you might be using. Since I am a Nokiddict, I am mentioning some of the Nokia phones which surely works with this one. Some examples are: Nokia N70, N91, N90, N92, N93, N95, N96, N78, E51, 6120, 3290, E65, 6600, 6600 Slide, 3230, 6680, 6681, N71, N72, N73, N75, N80, N81, N82, E90, E70, 6110 Navigator, Arte, Prism, E50, E60, E61, E62, E66, E71, 5700 Xpress Music, 5710, 5500 Sport, 5310, Nokia 5300 etc and a whole lot more. As much as I have seen it seems to work with all the network operators including AT&T Wireless, Sprint, Vodacom, Vodafone, T-Mobile (Prepaid plans and post paid plans), Virgin Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Telenor, Orange Mobile UK, Grameenphone, Airtel, etc. Feel free to download it and add me as well!

Do share your comments and point of views about Qeep here, I am hopeful that you will like it as well. And if you do like my blog and want to support my efforts, then please do subscribe to my newsletter or RSS feed via your favorite feed reader or simply via email. Cheerios, Qeep well and Godspeed!

Mau Mau Poker & Cards | Nokia Game

Eilloo everyone! One of the best part of Nokia smartphones is the fact that a variety of games are available for it. If you would like to buy fast cars and have a hobby of driving one, then you can play Juiced 2 or Need for Speed Carbon 3D, if you like simulation based games then you can try Sim City Societies or if you are into poker or cards, then Mau Mau. This brings me to today’s post, this post!

Mau Mau is obviously a game known to all of us who love to play cards and roll the dice on the casinos. or for those who just enjoys playing for a little bit of “time passing” at home when they have nothing good to watch, or even those to whom life is located behind the ace of spades. I personally am not a hardcore card player however many of my friends are. Anyway, if you like to play cards then you will love this game! If you want to understand how to play cards and want to earn some respect among other players then you might also want to grab this game. Mau Mau offers one of the most comprehensive explanations of the rules which really makes this game even more enjoyable! Your cards will be located at the handset screen’s very bottom which leaves a nice space to enjoy the view so to speak. The game does have a super easy interface, and offers a lot of points. You definitely earn points everytime a round of playing is over and you win after a predetermined set of rounds have been finished playing with. Your objective would be to lose the cards the fastest, the faster your cards are over from your pile the sooner you win, SIMPLE!

This game can be played with up to four players but you can also choose to play with two players. This classic game also have a classic feature built in which is sound funny sound and hilarious graphics! I mean its not a high definition game at well, but the characters of the game (your opponents) are something to see! I mean they are all whack and every time you win a round, they make this funny, gloomy face which is just way too funny! All in all, this game is a real treat for a specific group of people and if you are into cards, then you are surely in!
