Asphalt 3 Street Rules | Mobile Game

Greetings everyone! Today I am going to present you with one of the most famous and well known games for mobile devices. As the name suggests, it’s called Asphalt 3 Street Rules! I am sure many of you have heard of it and played the earlier versions as well. For those who didn’t here is an introduction. Asphalt 3 Street Rules is a racing game unlike any other. High end graphics, fast cars and tougher opponents make this game one of the most well known game in the industry. You have the option to customize your ride, let it be a high end Audi TT, Lamborghini Diablo or even a bike! There are in total 8 real life tracks from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and more. Your target is to be the best of the best in the illegal underground racing world. For that to achieve, (…just like in the Fast & Furious 2!) you have to beat down opponents who are riding in slicker cars and you also have to stay away from the cops and their helicopters! Within all these you even have the option to custom build your car completely. Change its light with Neon beams, install a carbon fibre body kit or even change the sparco seats! The more you win races and points the more you are respected in the racing circle and the more other opponents hate you. You gotta race your way through the most infamous neighborhood of the cities without getting too much attention from the police. Of course you also have the option to free ride the neighborhood so that you know what comes when you turn a hard left and so on. Remember, respect and money are earned through drifts and pileups.

One thing you do at first when you get some fair amount of cash is to tame the beast inside your ride, aka the fuming engine. Though it will cost you a fortune but you will be better off if you change it at first go without any fuss. That way your RPM increases significantly and you will be ahead for the first few seconds after a quick brake when the cops are bumping your back! I made a mistake of pimping the looks of the car and paid the price by being arrested in the game, not cool! Also, when going head to head with your opponent always try your best to push the opponent car on your right side from the sides rather than head on, that way they are easily pushed away from the race by getting off the street and you will start to win races almost as if you are way “off the hook”. The TV helicopters will follow you in every step once the police is on your tail and to get rid of them you should use the Nitrous, or simply try your best to get in the backyards of a major street. The trees and tall buildings will make the helicopter lose you and the cops will have a difficult time finding you. The controls of the game is really superb and the way the overall car moves is even better, in smartphones its quite unthinkable to have this much fun with racing games. The more you make the police bite the dust the more your rating as a racer will increase, however the more difficult it becomes to get away from police chases! But don’t be afraid to take risks, the game is all about risking it! Anyway, this HD or high definition game is compatible with all the major platforms but I am only giving you the 3rd edition versions in my blog. Please subscribe to the RSS feed for free before downloading it.

Knights of the Dark Age | S60 Game

K.O.D.E or Knights of the Dark Age is one of those game which seems to be inspired from Street Fighter or King of Fighters, mano-e-mano, you versus the laptop or desktop game, ported for your handheld. In this epic game for Nokia phones you get to engage your skills against furious opponents
in a gut wrenching combat in an unknown dimension discovered by the dirty and corrupted llthorion. The game is mainly tournament focused and with each opponent you destroy, a difficult and faster opponent steps in. Thus you progress in the tournament and at last face one hell of a gruesome boss! You get to choose your weapons from your surroundings or environment which will be provided around you when you are having the match against your opponent. In total there are five types of game modes available in Knights of the Dark Age, combat mode, versus mode, the survival mode, easy practice and a very innovative Pokemon style bloodcards match.

In the combat mode you can choose to fight with really difficult opponents in a tournament based match up or series. Every time you defeat an opponent, you advance to the next level and face an even more difficult opponent who is drooling to cut you to pieces. The opponents are really all equipped with superb moves and isn’t really a piece of pie to defeat. They will take you to the limit be sure of that.

One of the best part of the game however is the versus mode, well at least for me! Here you can play against your friend via bluetooth and thus enjoy the awesomeness of multiplayer and smartphone gaming. I tried to play this game myself with one of my friends and it really is a good experience, the gameplay doesn’t stop or pause in between the moves or in events where the graphics engine is running at full force.

In the survival or the time trial mode, you are thrown into a ticking time bomb so to speak and your aim will be to defeat the maximum number of opponents in that specified time, without breaks and life renenwing up. This part of the game is really very difficult and you can only master it once you have played this game enough times to know the moves really well.

In practice mode you can master your moves, and you really need to specially the “special moves”. Must inform you at this point that your handhelds keys really can make a difference for this game, the bigger the keys and the more space you have, the better and faster you will be able to play. The cellular phones from Nokia like N73, N81, N95 etc will do just fine! You also have the option to set up the difficulty level to high or low depending on your motivation to learn and master it overall.

Last, but not the least, is an innovative one of a kind bloodcards match. In other words you will be able to play online against people all around the world with cards, just like you do in Pokemon style games. It can be real fun cause you can see the rankings of other players who are playing this in their pda or cell phone and compare your position on the go!

Knights of the Dark Edge is actually one of the best 3D symbian mobile games available to date. The 3D rendering is almost as good as the graphics you see at Shadow Warrior, Lament Island or Doom 3D for PDA and cell phones. Plus you have the option of bluetooth multiplayer, online rankings and survivalism. This game is really one of the best out there so far according to me and will get you addicted to your favorite mobile phone in no time at all. K.O.D.E is compatible with all the major platforms of Nokia including N-Gage, Nokia N-Series and E-Series S60 smart phones. All the 3rd edition phones like Nokia E65, N71, N73, N80, N81, N82, N91, N91Music Edition, N93, N71, N93i, N95, N76, E90, E50, E51, E70, E71, N78, Nokia 6110, Nokia 6120 and 6121, N75, N92, Nokia 5700 and 5710 XpressMusic, 5500, N95 8gb, N96 E61, E62, 6290, 3250 etc are well supported. Also phones from 2nd edition like Nokia N70, 6680, 6681 are also supported. Almost all GSM and CDMA based carriers like AT&T, Vodafone, Verizon Wireless, Cingular, Hutch, Digi, Telenor, Airtel, Idea, T-Mobile, Reliance Mobile, Sprint etc are all supported and should work well with this game. However if you are on a pre-paid plan of AT&T or T-Mobile then it is adviced that you don’t go for the online gaming mode as it uses quite a bit of 3G or Edge packets to even enter or exit the website. Please subscribe to my RSS feed for free if you like this game, that is all I ask. Don’t forget to leave your comments about your experience about this game. Cheers!

Best Full Screen Caller for Nokia

One of the best thing about Nokia is that you can fully utilize its symbian OS capability and make your phone stand out from the default one in the market. You can customize and pimp the operating system and its overall “extensions/applications” or software features so much that your Nokia N73 will do everything what a Nokia N95 8gb can do, generally speaking of course. One of the drawback of the default Nokia is that you cannot view the full picture of the person calling you, even if you assign a picture to that specific contact, the default size is so small that it is almost useless. Wouldn’t it be so much better and cooler if you can view a full screen picture of the incoming caller in your phone? Hence, I present to you one of the finest and coolest symbian application to date, Best Full Screen Caller for 3rd Edition symbian mobile smartphones.

Full screen caller does exactly what the name implies, it shows a full screen image of the person who should be from your contacts list and who is calling you or when you are calling them. Meaning, for both incoming and outgoing calls you will see a fullscreen picture of the contact. Now you may ask what if I want to do a conference call and have to call another person when I am already within a call, will it work? The answer is yes! No matter in what way you are, the picture will be shown. Not only that, the Best Full Screen Caller have taken this a step further and lets you edit details of the person that will be shown with the picture as caption when he or she is calling you and vice versa. Of course you have the option to change the text color, the image quality that will be shown along with the texts, or you can deactivate full screen caller for specific numbers or just deactivate the texts that would be otherwise shown. Besides that you can control and adjust the backlight, the size of the layout of the text box and what not! Anyway, in my opinion keeping the pictures and the default captions makes the incoming caller look like as if it is a Full Screen ID of the caller.

This really is a cool application and a feature which Nokia should have incorporated in all the S60 and S40 handhelds, but they didn’t! Till they do that, we can always use this one quite smoothly! The application is really easy to install, set up and uninstall and assigning pictures can be automatic or manual. If you have pictures already assigned to contacts from the default Nokia phone menu then Full Screen Caller imports that pictures and shows an enlarged version of it. You can also do it manually though. This quality application is free to use and all I ask is for you to subscribe to my RSS feed, subscription is totally free with no catch at all! This application is compatible with all the major 3rd Edition Nokia N-Series and E-Series cell phones including Nokia 3250, 5500 Sport, 5700, 5710, Nokia 6110 Navigator, 6120, 6121, 6290, E50, E51, E60, E61, E61i, E62, E65, E70, E90, N71, N73, N75, N76, N77, N80, N81, N81 8GB, N82, N91, N92, N93, N93i, N95, N95 8GB, N96, E71 etc and more.

Nitro Street Racing 3D | Nokia Game

Have you got the need for the speed? Or you might want to funk up your car and tune the engines so much that the flames come out of the silencer pipes when you press the heartbeat element of street racing, aka Nitrous Di Oxide! One of the most beautifully decorated racing game ever released for any kind of mobile, let it by symbian S60, S40 or even a windows mobile device, Nitro Street Racing 3D will blow your mind! This is not F1 circuit we are talking about people, its the illegal urban street racing sydicate and the police ain’t your friend but true enemies when you push the NOS button or fly past them in blistering speed. In this Nokia game you can choose to race with the famous cars from brands like the america’s pride Ford, reliable Honda, ever strong Cadillac, the slick Nissan, the jack of all trades Peugeot, the classic Volkswagen, the Chrysler deluxe, super performancing BMW and the ever impressive Subaru!

This game is designed or rather based on the concept of Need For Speed Underground and Most Wanted, meaning, you have to seek for your opponents, mind the cops, finish tasks in time and fine tune your car all simultaneously. This really makes this game a real blast cause you almost have all the options from the original PC based games. Here you have to overcome stronger “thuggish” opponent or gangs who always want you suppressed in the bottom of the food chain. To make things worse they have similar or sometimes even better cars than what you would be driving in the career based mode! To make things even worse, there are traffic, deadly traffic at almost every single corner and a car crash is a blink away if you lose your focus in the game. To make things even much much much more worse are them cops whose cars are of blazing speed and since they are free government cars, they don’t feel the need to stop you nicely. Once the alarm lights up on their car you can be sure that they will bump your car on the back, and with every accident or speed sign you cross, the intensity of these cops turns fiercer and so does their cars. In this 3D atmosphere, you do have one thing though and that’s independence. You can choose to break the law or be a nerd!!

To win races you have to complete drags, sprints and circuit based laps. Time based races are also there along with drift and getaway. Look into the eyes of the rival and pull that move a little too late and you probably will never make it in time at the finishing point. There are exciting shortcuts all over the game in almost each stage or neighborhood so utilize them to the fullest to get on top quickly and effectively. All in all you have around 5 neighborhoods which you can unlock one by one. Each neighborhood obviously belongs to a specific “gang of racing thugs” who will hate you and try to ruin your day every single time. In total there are supposed to be more than 40 different levels of races and you have to complete them all in six different modes and that will earn you the one thing you lack, RESPECT!

Anyway, enough of the review already! This game is compatible with the latest NSeries, ESeries S60 smartphones and handsets of Nokia. Sorry my pda peeps! Cell phones of screen resolution 240×320 are supported for this version fore sure as I tested it myself, so it includes Nokia N95, N95 8gb, N96, 6121, 6120, N78, N71, N76, E65, E50, E51, N73 Music Edition, 5700 Xpress Music, 5710, 5500 Sport, N73, N93, N93i etc and more. However Nokia E60, E61, E62, E70, E78, E90, E66, N80 etc should also be supported as this is a java based game. Also do let me know if you are on an At&t, Verizon Wireless, Orange Mobile UK, Hutch, telenor, Cingular, Airtel etc network. It will help me a lot for future releases. Please do not forget to subscribe to the RSS feed for free before downloading, that is all I ask in return. Cheers!
